Even in 1.0 the tail just pointed down (with the tip swing left and right if you had a moonkeeper) and there was race specific combat stance.

We all get the same ones. Our tails hang limply because we all use the Hyur male combat style. Even Hyur females use the Hyur male combat poses. SE mentioned possibly adding racial combat animations. They probably just haven't gotten around to it, or changed their minds.

I do miss the race-specific combat stances. Every race's PGL/MNK stances were cool. Elezen women kept their left hands up, protecting the face, Roes kept both knuckles downward, like they were ready to just murder a fool.Even in 1.0 the tail just pointed down (with the tip swing left and right if you had a moonkeeper) and there was race specific combat stance.

I think miqo'te (female only at the time) had the most lively-looking stance, but then PGL/MNK is all I played other than fishing.

Yeah, something that always puzzled me is how some races do actually get different stances (Roegadyn Marauders/Lancers, Lalafell Arcanists...) while others don't. I'm kinda jealous of how Lalafell move one hand over the book.I do miss the race-specific combat stances. Every race's PGL/MNK stances were cool.
