I didn't assume anything, I used math involving averages for comparison because both Featherfoot and Keen Flurry are based on RNG.

Yes there are attacks that you can parry but not dodge, however on every one of those fights I can think of, Mantra or Feint is the better choice for the 5th cross class skill.
I also gave a SPECIFIC example that was actually useful to the OP (rook in phase5 of Turn4).
    So...

If you want to kill twintania your 5th cross class needs to be feint. 20% slow on a dreadknight the instant it drops can save someone far more definitely than 5% healing in a small radius AoE can. Have your offtank paladin (if your offtank is a war he should go pally for T5) sit next to where the Dreadknights drop and when he uses his first stun open with feint. That's 10 seconds of pally stuns (3 in a row) and 20% slow off the bat. From there your casters can stack on their 40% slows for guaranteed kills.

PS: Mantra is worthless... There is no fight that you should ever be taking large AoE damage and be stacked on melee. Not even T4 since that enrage should never be hit anyway.

So are dreadknights the only case where Feint's Slow lowers movement speed? It only lowers attack/casting speed normally.

Estellios is right on this. Feint is just atk/cast speed, maybe its getting confused with the blm one here? (name of the skill slips my mind atm, sorry)

They should clarify that... I always thought "Man 20% slower should be more than this!" lol

Not if you're at max range? Why would it suddenly focus you and you die just because you use an ability?

    I quote

sit next to where the Dreadknights drop and when he uses his first stun open with feint.
To be honest, I doubt he ever killed Twintania with this sentence. Only one person can stand next to where the Dreadknight pop : the 2nd in the hate list of Twintania. Well, the MT could if you don't have any melee DPS.

The Allagan Ring of Aiming he is wearing in his lodestone profile says otherwise.

So he did, I don't check, I don't mind and mistakes are human. But we all agree that his advice is REALLy wrong, don't stand next to where to DK pops, unless you are second in the hate list.

Which, if you re-read the whole quote not just the part you quoted, is what he said since that person is likely to be the off-tank. Nowhere in that post did he say he stood next to it. Feint takes on the range of it's user, so he can use it from wherever. Nothing about his post is wrong except for the movement speed reduction quality of Feint, as far as I can see.
