Seriously?
WAR have it easier but it is by no means impossible for a PLD plus one healer to rotate their cooldowns so that EVERY SINGLE death sentence is drastically mitigated.
Rotate your cooldowns better or Tankswap during the DS's.
Stoneskin/Adloquium are certainly nice to have but should NOT be relied upon to save your skin every time.

Twintania Single-PLD "Death Sentence" Rotation Order:
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DS#1 - MT Rampart (Optional: SCH +Sacred Soil)
DS#2 - MT Sentinel [Never needs more mitigation]
DS#3 - *** VIRUS ***
DS#4 - MT Rampart (Optional: SCH +Sacred Soil)
DS#5 - MT Foresight/Awareness/Conv/Bulwark (Optional: Sacred Soil/Eye for an Eye)
DS#6 - *** VIRUS ***
[Repeat from start]
Hallowed Ground is kept available for emergencies.
In later phases (after conflags) the damage from Death Sentences also inflict "Infirmity", which reduces healing received.
This is when using "Sacred Soil" prior to the hit or Lustrates after the hit can become a good idea.
The Paladin can also use Bloodbath (unaffected by healing debuffs) to help keep themselves topped up.
The alternative is to rotate Virus between two people, so that it gets used every other Death Sentence:
DS#1 - MT Rampart
DS#2 - *** VIRUS ***
DS#3 - MT Sentinel
DS#4 - *** MT Rampart plus VIRUS ***
DS#5 - MT Foresight/Awareness/Conv/Bulwark
DS#6 - *** VIRUS ***
[Repeat from start]
However this alternative rotation doesn't really mesh with PLD's Cooldown timers quite as well.
It also has the potential to fail if one of the virus-casters gets locked in a conflag at precisely the wrong moment.
Using the first rotation but having a Backup Virus-caster would be the safer option.

Twintania Double-PLD "Death Sentence" Rotation Order:
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DS#1 - MT Rampart
DS#2 - MT Sentinel
DS#3 - MT Foresight/Awareness/Conv/Bulwark plus Eye for an Eye.
DS#4 - MT Rampart
***** TANK SWAP *****
DS#5 - OT Sentinel
DS#6 - OT Rampart (plus whatever other buffs the OT has available if no adds)
***** TANK SWAP *****
[Repeat from start]
This rotation provides a little more solid mitigation and frees up Virus to be used as-needed.
However tank swapping can be DANGEROUS if the OT ends up otherwise occupied prior to the swap (e.g. trapped in a Conflag!)

Twintania "Optimal" Rotation Order with a WAR MT:
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
DS#1 - MT Inner Beast/Foresight/Mantra plus Teammate#1's Virus
DS#2 - MT Inner Beast/Vengence plus WHM Divine Seal + "Cure II"
DS#3 - MT Inner Beast/Conv/Featherfoot plus Teammate#2's Virus
DS#4 - MT Inner Beast/Thrill of Battle plus WHM Divine Seal + "Cure II"
[Repeat from Start]
This is pretty much the SAFEST POSSIBLE means of dealing with "Death Sentence".
It requires two players with Virus, a WAR MT and a WHM.
The WAR rotates in Healing buffs (Mantra and Convalesence) whenever there is no Divine Seal + Cure II available.
The WAR rotates in extra raw damage mitigation (Vengence and Thrill of Battle) whenever there is no Virus available.
Bloodbath can be used by the WAR as-needed to keep themselves topped up. Holmgang is kept for emergencies.
