Because it is a concrete FACT!..if I gave you a video and said "ok watch that 15 minute video of that guy doing open heart surgery, once you've watched it go and operate on that guy". By your example, it's perfectly fine for a med student to perform heart surgery without any prior knowledge beforehand. When the student nicks a blood vessel he will go oh shit next time I'll avoid that! Too bad, parient is already dead.

I didn't say without any prior knowledge. I'm stating that just by watching a video don't make you a good open heart surgeon. Watching videos of Primal EX battles isn't going to make you a good video game player.
