You know, higher level dungeons give you a lot per kill less bonus. Lower level dungeons give you neglectable amount of per kill exp but a huge bonus boost.

Yep, the bonus exp is something related to the exp needed for leveling up. I also think its like 45% and I also felt that was nerfed. I leveled up WHM pretty fast and I'm feeling a lot more slow trying to level PLD...

Based on my experience with Duty Roulette Low Level:
This is wrong, it has never been this way.
This is right, it has always been this way since Duty Roulette was released - I get significantly less bonus exp in the lvl 40+ dungeons than the lvl 15-30 dungeons. However, you also get like 3k+ per monster kill (with rested xp) in the higher level dungeons which makes up for the lower bonus.

I also think the bonus exp is fixed per dungeon no matter what level you are.
I got placed several times in Sastasha and Baby Ifrit. I always would get about the same amount of Bonus.
Today I got 157xxx bonus exp as Monk 39 in Sastasha
I got 112xxx bonus as Monk 32-5ish in Baby Ifrit anthet time 114k and another time 150k because weirdly enough DD got bonus
I remember getting 164k Bonus in in Hauke Normal as Monk 35ish
Tam Tara 132k as Monk 36ish

True but if you want to maximize EXP then no. You can do any dungeon at any time of the day but you can only get the DR bonus once per day. So if what they are saying is correct, Then you want to do the lowest level dungeon you can get in DR (not saying to leave everyone you get until you get Sastasha). Yes the mob EXP is lower but the Bonus is higher, Where as if I did Cutters cry again I would get a low bonus but more EXP from Mobs. So If I got a low level DR then I could just do a higher dungeon after to get better EXP. See what I mean that's how you maximize your EXP.

Let's look at the JP version of the explanation on the Duty Finder Low Level Roulette.
What it says, is that the experience and gil bonus are determined by your class/job level, and given as a lump sum less the amount of experience and gil you earned during the duty.「コンテンツルーレット:ローレベル」の経験値とギルのボーナス値は、参加するクラス・ジョブのレベルによって決定され、参加先コンテンツの道中で得られる経験値、ギルどの差額を報酬として得られます。
Now let's look at the EN version:
So, today, which one do you choose to believe? =DBonus EXP and gil will be awarded to compensate for the discrepancy between character and duty levels. A further percentage will then be added based on character level.
Hmm. You may be right.

So, if I'm reading that right, you'll get exactly the same amount of total XP from a roulette regardless of which dungeon you do and how many mobs you skip? Assuming this is correct, that is.

I'm beginning to wonder if this value of XP ends up at roughly ~45% of what you currently need to level as well.
Everyone is correct, yay!
I actually just did a DR on my 43 PLD. I can't remember the xp I had before going in. But I got Copperbell Mines.Oh for reference, my xp after this run is: 226356 / 373700
