Something similar to a heroic in wow?

seriously Stop with the damn wow ... that damn game ruined the MMO genre and continues to degrade every mmo . All mmo's are now either wow clones or wanna be wow games , SE made FFXI and broke the mold with content that made ppl feel accomplished in what they have done Dyna Ein Sky Sea these i wsh i could see in FFXIV not the same thing but same elements of challenge and rewards . If your ls has great players and can kill monsters that are UBER hard you get those spoils of battle.. in short stfu with the wow this wow that Final fantasy used to pride themselves in being Different and great Story lines .

For the record, part of FFXI's success was because they copied the most successful MMO at the time (EverQuest.) Nothing they've ever really done has been all that original (FFXI was based off EQ, FF Tactics was based on Tactic Ogre, the original FF was based on DQ.) They just manage to take what others have done and repackage it in an appealing way. If FFXIV had taken some pages from WoW, it would be in much better shape than it is now. Do I want a WoW clone? No. But it's ignoring WoW and even S-E's own past successes that made FFXIV turn out the way it did (critically panned).

FF11 stole heaps from Everquest just like WoW stole heaps from FF11.

Originality is only in people's tinted memories.

FF11 is really a very polished and friendlier version of Everquest. Except for the auction house and subjobs.. most of the systems are a page of the "best of everquest".

Uh.. Did you play EverQuest? Cause I did.. I can't think of a single thing that FFXI stole from ever quest.. I mean, unless you count 1 being an MMO and 2 having Zones.. Seriously.. back that up..

Sorry I hurt your feelings. I brought up a wow heroic because most current MMO players know what it is. Seemed easy and logical to use it as a point of reference.
