I don't mind the logging out so much as it constantly running the Bahamut Destroys the World screensaver. Don't really know why that annoys me. At any rate I'd prefer it if the auto-logout dropped you on the character select screen instead.

No thanks, I'd rather take the 30 seconds to log back in than have hundreds of people in Revenant's toll all afk and in front of the tome merchants. Granted, there are some loitering there, but the number of people is significantly less than what I used to see in XI in Jeuno and Whitegate's Auction Houses.
Lol this made me laugh ty 9/10

So they put housing in the game with some pretty nifty features like /doze on a bed or being able to sit in a chair. But, you can only do that for 30 minutes until you're bumped off without cheating the system or some other garbage.
Ever wonder why XI made this optional? And the fact that you could change the amount of time it took? Yeah...

A lot less ppl playing now, this function unnecessary.

I wish they would since all you do in this game is log in and stand around afk while waiting on the df
The most entertaining thing in this whole issue is that this "function" was introduced too late to start with...
After the subscription hit and players could log in just fine - they introduced it XD
And the first few weeks where no one could log in or even wait in the log in que there was no word about it...
Sigh... Not sure who to blame, SE for being slow, or the players for not knowing SE being slow and didnt forsee this happen when they complained about it lol
So... Just log back in?
it's not exactly like you have to do a backflip through a flaming hoop to get back into the game
When it kicked in the servers were definitely still having issues. It may have been late to the party, but it definitely helped. As it stands though no one can possibly know (other than SE employees) if it is still necessary. The rest is just us making false assumptions. The most entertaining thing in this whole issue is that this "function" was introduced too late to start with...

Less time worrying about auto-logout. More time worrying about your digestive track
