No one can log into any North American Servers

Sorry to post in the JP forum, but Square-Enix is ignoring the North American Forums.

Have not been able to log into Balmung(NA Server) in 6 hours of non stop attempts. Has been like this every day since Pre Order Began.

What are you doing to fix this? It looks like you are doing nothing. Please communicate with your American audience. This game release has been shameful and unprofessional.

I am really annoyed with this error 1017 bull. I may have to request a refund or give a charge back if this is not fixed or compensated.

I am just confused that with all these problems we are getting to simply log-in, we still have people lvl 50 already walking around. I played nearly all Monday and the best I got was lvl 16. Guess I am not doing it right?

That aside, it does feel like they didn't care as much about the NA customers as much as they should have.

Reason why there are level 50's on Balmung already is the fact that Balmung is a Legacy Server. Your doing it right, but as a new player your playing catch up too all the Legacy players. Main thing is to have fun while your playing.

Way to be completely misleading with your thread title. Go to a different server. Balmung is THE MOST POPULAR NA server. So it's your own fault for trying to play on the most popular server at an MMO launch. If you're new to MMOs, I don't blame you as much for not understanding, but if you don't want to have long wait times to play during peak hours during an MMO's launch, then you need to play on another server. If you chose to play on the most populated server, then you have no right to complain.

How exactly were any of us to know what servers were popular. i had no idea Balmung would be the most popular, ye i rolled there because the people there are amazing. I wish i didn't regret that. I have to choose between playing the game or being able to play with great people. What the hell kind of choice is that? Siren server? My lord the people there are awful.

Yeah, not so much. They dropped the ball and their answer? To bottle neck the ammount of people who can be on so now you have people who won't log out when they're done in fear they won't be able to get back on. 4 days I've been unable to play when i get home from work and it's not until 10 or 11pst time am I able to login. This is the worst MMO launch in a long ass time.. Seriously.. 3rd day and "world is full". Don't even get a queue.. just dumped out. You can't blame the user base because the company failed to plan or think ahead.

I take exception to that, thank you. I have a character there and have opened the "Siren Songs" LS for music appreciation and discussion. So far the people that have joined are all exceptionally friendly.

I've logged in within 6 hours, so it isn't true that no one can log in. However, the past two times I've "played" I got a 90k error immediately and was unable to play for over an hour of trying to get back in the game before I had to do other shit.

I've had launches with queues in the first week and I've been kicked from servers before but this is hands down the worst. I've never had either in such degrees especially considering the internet connection here is much better than what I've had to use for other games.
