Another disappointing event.

In WoW, a lot of seasonal events had an accompanying boss fight you can do to try to win fun things like vanity gear and pets. It would be neat if they added temporary guildhests or trials you could do... it certainly would be a lot better than doing FATEs.

yeah I agree these events kinda suck. I hope they improve on them. Will be slightly better
when the vanity system comes out but right now all these events are is wasted inventory space.
You can't even put half the stuff in the amour. I thought the minion reward was cool and I really wanted them
but I ended up missing out on those too. Which sucks cause that was probably the only event I felt as worth doing.

Yeah i dont get the armoire. It says I can put seasonal stuff in there and stuff but half the time i can't anyway. I want to keep my DL stuff for old times sake but i can't deposit that either. Anyway thats a topic for another day lol. How about dropping NM bosses in random places. And by random I mean totally random. Level 10 wlaking out of uldah and WHAM! Meteor to my FACE. A lovel 70 monster dropped there. OOPS! How cool would that be. Instead of fetch quests maybe hide items in totally off the map random locations, but each player can only get one. I don't know. Mix it UP!

but i must disagree, i dont want bloody valentine either in game or real life
shantottto and golem level is different level depend on the map,no whining right?
but valentine is real life event and it to give the gamers, single or couple or married to celebrate it in game or mmo and obviously not real life

They're silly little holiday events. Why do people look for challenges in these? o.O Its meant for festivities, that's it. Ever celebrate a real life holiday and say something silly like "Man, New Year's Eve just wasn't interesting or challenging this year. Thanks, calendar."?

Actually, I found it quite refreshing. Yeah, requires running around like a headless chicken - but hey, it's a step in the good direction after all the "wait half an hour for FATE to pop - rinse and repeat" ones that we had so far. Besides, it's a roleplaying game. It's supposed to have stories and convos to it, those being part of and contributing to quests.

I do like the little stories they have, but I would appreciate something more than fetch quests where the goal is 10 yalms away.

Make a trial. The entrance to the instance is a door somewhere. But there are 8 keys needed to unlock. You can find the keys in random locations anywhere, and you can only carry 1 key. When you assemble 8 keys (2 tanks, 2 healers, 4 dps) You can form a team and open the door. Inside you will be granted one shot at a 15-30 / 30-40 / 40-50 / 50+ boss . Your leader chooses which to face. If you die, the keys shatter and you have to start again. If you win, super cool mount for everybody. This trial involves team work, chance, and skill. Ergo it involves FUN. And the reward would be cool because I for one would be envious of those that got the top prize.

And yes the keys are nontradable and unique lol (none of this store multiple uniques in your retainer stuff) These are KEY ITEMS. Lol get it? Key items?
