The game has boiled down to:
Log-in, complete dailies, complete roulettes, get my piece in CT for the week, down Coil.
There's little-no immersion any longer, it's a slog, and the world presents zero threat & no further reward for engaging it.

Nicely summed up ^^ Sadly, I agreeThe dev team that brought us 1.23 could do so much better. I hope that eventually they do!
Everyone thought paid retainers and fantasia would be the end of it.
You were warned.
Cash shop in, TrystWildkey out.
I suppose then you now are a bit more happy. You have the valentione event. xD
jokes aside all MMO are the same or worse. once you finish the story there's no more story until the next expansion. some people "burn" the story as fast as they can and then complain there's nothing to do. others slowly enjoy each step of the story and spend their time socializing with other adventurers and helping them.
I'm not going to tell how to play. everybody enjoys the game on his own way but rest assured for me it will last a lot longer than for those that only want to have new content to see how fast can beat it and complain there's no more story.
Thanks for summing up the issues in the simplest way possible. This is exactly how I feel. It just saddens me because I had so much love for this game since beta, but once the wool began being pulled away from my eyes, I felt less and less like doing anything.
