    They have to balance things around solo players or it wouldn't work - Current dungeons even while piss easy are designed around 4-24 people, skip mobs, go back and see how long you last solo. Or better yet, join with 3 friends, have them drop out and poke a boss solo. So while you may do it in other MMOs, in FFXI and FFXIV it's not designed that way unless there's specific balance for it. If you don't want to pay for 3 accounts to do dungeons...

    Queue up, now, with the duty finder and do them.

    Bang on the mark. Where are all the epic quests like the Heritage quests in EQ2 where it would takes weeks to complete and every step needed a group?! The only groups I see running around are the people fate grinding. We need group quests badly and I don't mean group for dungeon parts. I mean group for hard overland areas/parts/bosses as well so we're travelling around zones as a group.

    I mean where are the overland zones that need a group to enter????? WTF?

    There would be no point to having a DF then, or even parties.
    People would just grind fates till they're high enough to do it alone, defeats the purpose of even having dungeons.

    The only way this could maybe work, is if the gear that dropped had no stats. Like literally, nothing. And could not be turned in for seals. Basically it just existed to be vanity items.

    Because otherwise, lawl I would just spam an early dungeon, collect all the gear and what i don't turn into Company seals, I put on the market board further screwing up the economy.

    Going in dungeons solo without level sync -

    Everyone would just level 1 job to 50 then solo everything and never party.
    Why sit in que for Brayflox when you can just roflstomp it by yourself and
    get all your gear without having to roll against anyone else, ever?

    The ques for new people would be a disaster cuz anyone with a 50 would
    never que anymore. Essentially any non-50 dungeon would be a 2 hour+
    wait for people who DID want to party.

    Yes to being able to queue with less than a full Light/Full party, no to removing level sync.

    I'd love to be able to take on the challenge of some of the dungeons as a duo but still in the level range for them.

    Making an easy avenue to just farm gear while holding up an instance on the server? No thanks.
