Not to mention that horizontal progression doesn't really work in a game like this unless you're willing to add gear with similar stats of the same ilvl but different textures (which, given Glamours wouldn't be a bad idea but I know some dummy-heads out there are under the delusion of getting gear with +healing potency and +refresh and +haste, which belong in poorly-balanced games like FFXI).

    Amazing, but not surprised to see after all the 'remove the weekly lock out' threads, that it didn't dawn to someone that without the lockouts, all the casuals could actually catch up... lmao, and then to act like SE is doing something wrong so that all the paying customers of the product can enjoy what they are paying for is arrogance given form...

    Anyways I look forward to finish the gearing up of my 5th job while someone else finishes their 1st/2nd. I just hope I have better lots

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
