Thanks to the reactionaries who demanded an afk timer this is sadly off the table.Another one I would like to see come back................
(6) From XI - Personal Bazaar - Would be great for all especially crafters (for those who don't know about the personal Bazaar, it is basically your own market board and other players can see it when they examine you. you could tell if someone had items up in their Bazaar by a special icon next to their name) I liked it in FFXI as it actually encouraged community chat and allowed me to sell items like foodstuff to players near dungeons, etc. and save other players the time and effort to run/warp to cities/npcs just for 1 or more items.
.
Open world dungeons would be great. I never understood why we can have ONLY one or the other?!

Ahh even with that Bazaars would be good to have.....and..... there are many ways round the afk timer, I know... I seen many a player been afk for well over 30+ mins.
Crap, even I have been afk for well over 1hr by accident as I thought I was going to auto log out but was still logged in after going to the movies lol.

Hmmmm perhaps.... Well, at least it would give me a reason to do FATES again.RMT would never be a factor if the Kraken Club-type item was:
1) U/U
2) Obtained from a FATE battle where 'Gold rank' would get you a ~1.5% drop rate, 'Silver rank' would get you a ~0.3% chance, and Bronze gets you ~0.1%
Just make the FATE battle have pop pattern similar to Odin (ie, across multiple zones and in a large window)... but it shouldn't show up on the maps like normal FATES until the mob is engaged.
This idea captures the best features of both the FATE system and the NM/HNM system. Furthermore, it is a great way to introduce ultra-rare prestige weapons and gear to the game.
You should have bought an authenticator.....
Your tears feed me....

Ahh yes the Kraken Club..... I remember and hated the RMT's in XI for that... but I think that SE could perhaps limit some of the RMT problem by putting a timer on it as such.... say you can't re-enter with X amount of hours once it has been logged as completed.Items like the Kraken club would be fun. But the club wasn't something hard to get per se. But RMT would be all over these items and have a monopoly, ruining it for everyone. We would just see a crap load of bots teleporting on top of the NM for claim.... Yeah No thanks on that.
But yes I would love to see that back![]()

Thank you for poiting that out, just as others have said already.
BUT
I am one of those people who won't believe it until I actually see it running (or confirmed in the release notes for each patch/update, etc. at least) Just a mention about it doesnt confirm anything in my opinion lol.
Sorry for the little rant, but I think that needed to be said.
Cheers![]()

In fairness fates are pretty okay, but they do spawn a little to often IMO, and maybe, just maybe, they could slow down the fate repitition and implement some of the older NM spawns just like in XI, which may work pretty well. That would satisfy me quite well, as you would then not only mingle more player lvls in the open world in all areas, but also let new players see the wonder and style of the older players in thier higher lvl gear lol. This would be my list almost exactly. I don't necessarily want the NMs to spawn repeatedly like they did in FFXIV, I didn't mind camping NMs in XI, but everything else I totally agree with. I would also add an endgame area like Sky with farmable items for NM pops and some type of lateral skill advancement once we hit 50 on a job.

Hmmm an idea just came to mind lol....... maybe they could do the old style NM spawns in the opposite way to the current fate system... where you could only attack the NM if you are certain higher lvl and 'Sync UP' rather than down.... that way if you were below the required lvl you couldnt attack it..... Ooooo and that would in turn spread more players around all areas of Eorzea too, and if SE could make each area bigger somehow with say more Dangerous unexplored sections, then that would give us all more to expore, more places to fish, more places to farm, and maybe add some older style 'BCNM' in those areas................ Hmm I like that idea lol

I'm not really sure you can mention things that were in the Alpha or Beta, as they're still bound by NDA and could potentially lead to your account being deleted. Hence I'm not going to mention anything from the Alpha or Beta. One thing from 1.0 I would like to see back though, is an option to switch back to the 1.23 GUI art style (but with ARR's functionality) - I miss the old fashioned style fonts, window backgrounds and 1.0 icon artwork. ARR's GUI looks too futuristic and FFXIII-inspired sadly.
Ferry yes, as 1.0 had it accessible - unfortunately given the fact that the ferry can't even be ridden on now until you have your airship pass, it's irrelevant. As for airships, well considering how small they actually are, there would be little point to being able to 'explore' them in-flight. Also the journey would be so quick anyway you'd be there within a minute or two. And 1.0 airships were instant as well so that's nothing different. Personal (well, rather, FC-owned) airships are confirmed to be coming in the future so this might be on the cards after all I guess.
