Thank god. Hopefully this suggestion can finally die. I don't want a million stupid little speech bubbles on my screen, and I'd rather they spend time developing real features instead of a silly way to show your text on screen.

Sadly, even when a developer says no/have no plans/not on the table/not in the cards/have more important stuff to do first people say: "Implement it anyway or you're not keeping to the standard MMORPG formula, just toggle it off if you don't like it."
Even though only a select few MMOs actually have speech bubbles. Hell some of the latest Korean MMOs (the actual 'standard') only have speech bubbles if your party members are far apart and you're on a different chat filter so that way you can see what they actually write - However in ARR you can see what people write perfectly fine unless you're in a location where transparency settings would help.

What "real features"?
Things that are standard in other MMORPGs, yet we take ages to get them (if we get them; see: speech bubbles)?
More dungeons to grind, because world bosses and meaningful crafting is a no-no because they're afraid of RMT (I thought we paid them to keep cheaters off?)
More circular room with bosses, that takes ages to beat because the only difficulty about them is memorizing their pattern?
Am I a bad person for expecting more of a subcription MMORPG?
Honestly, I can't be the only one who's constantly let down by the CMs only coming here to say "no" to the simplest, harmless stuff.
I'm glad they said no. Chat bubbles look terrible and cluttered. I hate games that have them. They feel...cheap. And people complaining about not being able to see chat in the chat log...filter your chat log correctly. We have tabs in the chat log for a reason. How about you turn off what you don't want to see since you keep repeating it to others. The chat bubbles would be a complete waste of time developing and implementing for little to no gain.
Are you blind to the fact 2.1 came out and added a bunch of new features? Beastmen dailies, new dungeons, Crystal Tower, Treasure hunts, new primals, moogle mog, plot, etc...
Yes, you are paying a subscription, and despite your snarkiness the fact remains that yes you are getting new content from your payments. You can't act like all of that didn't happen just because they said no to chat bubbles. Listing features you personally didn't like also doesn't change the fact that others like it, and what you have is nothing more than your opinion. You can not act like they developed nothing at all. Get over it.
