Why can't we have the ability to create accurate Parser?

How is the fact that it's against the TOS to use a 3rd party (anything) parser off topic? My post was explaining why it's against the TOS and why parsers wouldn't be needed as much in the first place if there weren't enrages and dps races in fights.

You're asking why they aren't allowing you/others to make a better parser; it's because it isn't allowed per TOS.

When the topic is why does SE not let us use their official parser (which are actually giving the correct numbers) that they use for internal balance tests and also use in PvP and give the output at the end of the fight, I would say talking about the junk tosses into 3rd party ones and TOS is a bit off topic.


So much discussion if it is actually against TOS, or should we have all the addons included in the 3rd party ones would just go away if we had the official ones SE uses that are attached to the game (or at least the development build has them attached). In 4 and 8 man content one person slacking has a HUGE effect, so much more then the 40man raids of crappy WOW back in the day, and this is why a official parser would be nice to have, and why people will use even non-accurate unofficial ones.

Asking to CREATE an accurate parser indicates third party. If he had said "Why can't SE give us the use of an accurate parser" it'd be a different story.
