Open up the Party Menu ("O" on the PC, not sure about PS3) and then highlight the player you want to move in the party list, then use the large "Up" and "Down" buttons you see in the lower left of the same menu.

oh this is a good thread. I'll post a my setup later.
Player
Here's mine! My HUD layout is inspired by something I saw posted on Reddit quite awhile back.
1-12: Basic pet commands, healing-related things.
ctrl 1-12: Offensive skills, and miscellaneous things that I use often.
alt 4-6: Manual fairy embrace and buffs.
alt 7-9: Sustain and fairy summons.
alt 10-12: Rarely-used skills such as protect and interrupts.
shift 10-12: Mind potions and variants of ether, just in case.
Mouse scroll button left tilt: Run.
Mouse scroll button right tilt: Summon mount.
I have succor and fairy summons without swiftcast/whispering dawn macros on the side for out of battle usage.

Wheres the party/alliance/focus target stuff? Should be the focal point of this thread tbh.
I've got mine so messy yet it's practical (for me). Would love to actually make it less messy but still practical at the same time but that seems still way out of my reach since I'm out of ideas. This thread is like awesome. lol Thanks and keep contributing.![]()

whoa thats kinda cool. not exactly something my brain could process I think but cool. never thought of putting a map in the center.
here's my setup. I try to very minimalist on my screen overall since pretty much everything in the game in keybound.
I play at a really high res so you might not beable to see it here a link expanded

Ack! I've just realized that I haven't taken any screenshots in CT without my HUD off =_=; I can take one if I happen to go there tonight. My alliance and focus target setup looks somewhat like cearka's, though!
I use a Razer Naga to play (has 12 side buttons), so it helps to have the in-game layout echo the hardware button layout. On the first set of 3x4, I've placed rouse (with fey illumination macro) , swiftcast, and succor (with whispering dawn macro) in an L-shaped arrangement. That way, it'd be easy for me to chain the skills as needed.
The additional potion hotkeys are newly added, so I haven't really experimented with them yet... It's probably better if I can just shift+7 for mind potion and then hit 7 for rouse+illumination, but I dunno @_@ I'll have to poke around for a bit.

This is my HUD, the screen is a bit older, but the HUD is still the same :>
Back then we were trying our luck @T2 and when the time ran out we decided to rejoin the dungeon. A guild mate of mine tried to pull of something funny... by pulling the boss. The result was that my healer mate was locked inside the dungeon and couldnt exit it because the wall was up and it was not possible via duty finder.^^

I got used to a minimalist set cause I spend half the time playing on my laptop where screen space is prime real estate...so when I apply the same setup to my desktop that's more then 4 times the ui looks so tiny lol.
Razer Orbweaver + Naga 2014 on both systems allows me to minimize the need for clickable ui =D
