Most people just skim through NPC dialogue because they assume it's all pointless flavour text (the flavour being yuck).
yeah and it lacks good proper "next-gen" presentation. Or some voice acting including CS for the important stuff, which is... standard imo, especially with a game focusing on graphics so much.
