Usually it is the best option nuke healer or caster dps reducing sleeps and damage and heals. Sometimes you lose no matter what you do since u can affect only 1/4 ur party it is teamplay after all. If you have weak gear u should probably do 30 and 40 brackets until u get lvl 70 gear.
Lol for one thing Longnu is a DRG not a MNK so idk why you are bringing their videos into this, and zerging can work pretty well depending on who your teammates are, and who the enemy team is. That aside, I will simply give some quick tips here.

-Fists of Wind is your friend in PvP.
-Have Foresight as one of your 5 cross class skills.
-Watch if you're being focused or not, if you are, and you have blood for blood on, click it off. Pop Foresight/Featherfoot too.
-Watch for when your healer starts to cast his heal right before the gates open, use Mantra when you see him doing this.
-One Ilm Punch is far more useful in PvP, utilize it often.
-Start with Sprint, not Shoulder Tackle, save Shoulder Tackle for those who attempt to escape you.
-Mercy Stroke is pretty good for burst/finisher.

The most important tip I can give you is to hang in there. Every PvP skill is super important to a Monk. I dare say more so than any other class. The lower rank you are the more you're going to feel useless because of lack of abilities. Also i90s are going to pound your face in. Just hang in there... lol. You can try 30/40 brackets but there are a couple of premades of 4 who keep playing in those brackets, stomping the randoms.
