    This, pretty much. I could forgive a LOT of faults if the world was enormous and dangerous to explore with some neat stuff and places to find (actual open world dungeons like FFXII had would be nice). Right now the overworld feels like a bunch of hallways to get to the next outpost or town 20 feet away.

    First choice- Fates: auto scale them based on number of players participating in them. People may be encouraged to try them as they are traveling the zones. So many FATES are never even attempted by most players. People might learn to enjoy them again.
    Runner up- Dungeons: remove time limit. It discourages taking the time to help new players learn the area. It also makes you want to vote-kick if there is a wipe =/

    The one thing I'd really like to see added to the game is a second Job for each Class, especially if it adds Roles the Class doesn't currently have. I really like that Arcanist has two Jobs with different Roles.

    I think a big thing I'd like to change would be for more of the end game gear to be dye-able. Kind of bugs me that even the non-AF endgame pieces can't be dyed.

    They tried that in 1.0 - it failed, horribly. It was in fact the game's major fault that was universally accepted - that to accomplish the 'seamless' open world design, they had to sacrifice other things just to make the game work, such as the fact zones were, in fact, virtually empty, that the same environment model was endless copied and pasted, that textures had little detail. So yeah, 'large open world' will never be coming back - ARR was designed specifically to avoid that.

    Musketeer and its associated Job, Corsair. I seriously need another ranged class to level up. D:

    Removed:
    Dungeon timers. They serve no purpose whatsoever!

    Changed:
    Implement a Time Attack mode for all dungeons (i.e. Cutter's Cry, the Aurum Vale, etc). This mode would actually make use of a timer, but instead of the current limit, instead you would start the dungeon with very little time on the clock (around five minutes to start). Killing mobs would extend your timer slightly. Killing bosses would extend it even further. Best times for completion could be posted to a leaderboard on the Lodestone. Time Attack dungeons would not drop normal loot and would Level Sync you down to a specific item level to prevent over-gearing the encounters. Completing a Time Attack dungeon would give you special tokens based on your score at the end which could be used to purchase unique items not obtainable anywhere else, including vanity items.

    This....this....and 100 times this. They need to add back unique effects/abilities to gear. I still have no idea why they would even remove them from the transition from 1.0 to 2.0.
