Undercutting by stupid amounts - why do it!

Only time I've undercut by a lot of gil was when I found a decent niche, and someone popped up one day and kept undercutting me by good amounts of gil on items that sold pretty quickly. So I crashed it! MWAHAHA

I do this on my server too.

Only I undercut niche markets till the regular sellers crash it in the hope that I leave, I buy up all the super cheap stuff, leave them alone then list what I bought off them for 600-1000% markup and make a killing.

then I do it all over again next week.

I'll be more than happy to take it all the way to the bottom. Undercut me anyways? There goes your profit as well. Buy me out? I'll put up more at the same price.
