T6 - T9 is not in Duty Finder isn't it? And since when FC's are made for dungeons? LOL!

Kinda how they shagged us 1.0 players handing everything we actually worked for, to you ARR players on a silver platter.Anyone else think they shagged the players and guilds that spent 1-2 months working towards getting turn 1-5 down and gear then they removed lockouts after forcing players to spend more time playing their game.
Good job saying F***U to the fcs and guilds that worked it. No point in having guilds in this game anymore its all duty finder
I don't really understand the outrage some people have over this. You can't have not seen this coming... this is how practically every MMO with this kind of vertical/tiered gear progression works (not strictly by removing lockouts from old raids, but by making gear of the same power as the old raid easily attainable when the next raid tier is out so people can catch up).
Item level 90 gear will basically be analogous to what Darklight was at the game's launch. Essentially, it'll be entry level gear for turns 6-9 (which I imagine will drop 110 or 120 stuff) and Crystal Tower part 2 in 2.3 will drop something in between as another stepping stone. So even if you'll be able to gear up all of your alts in i90 really quickly, that's not too big of a deal because there'll be harder content with much higher gear requirements. Even today, gearing up all of your alts in full Darklight (which is more than enough for primals and early Coil turns) isn't very difficult, so in 2.2 you can just think of Allagan gear being the new baseline/minimum for the hardest content (Leviathan and Coil 6-9).
I think it'd be nice to have an vertically-scaled MMO where old tiers weren't trivialized when the next tier comes out , so that newer players could have the same experience of progression through old content instead of just entirely skipping it and heading straight to the new stuff. But ultimately that's just not a realistic expectation for a casual MMO like this, and so I don't know why people would have had that expectation to begin with.

You had to have seen this coming- all gear in this game is throw away.
This is why many of us don't bother with farming content, because the gear is nothing but a small linear upgrade that will be throwaway. There is very little "end game" here and what there is holds no interest for some people, because it's nothing but Lockout Farmville to keep you going until the next Farmville release... The gear isn't even varied or interesting... just + to a couple of stats. Think about that next time you are posing with some armor or weapon- it's throwaway.
@ OP: You honestly didn't see this coming? Really?
News flash: This is how all MMOs operate now. I'm not happy about either, and I'd hoped YP would stick to a more traditional model for content and gear but nope... kiddos gotta have their shinies now, everything has to be new and sparkly and to hell with actually enjoying stuff for a long time. If it ain't new, it ain't worth doing apparently.
i wish they would make it to your locked out per 50 job you go in with so say your 50 dragoon beats t5 then you can go in with your healer still it balanced everything out. this way is just lame.
^^^^
They said this like a million times over.
Next dungeon release will be more CT, and I guarantee the current CT will no longer have a loot lockout when that happens. Because they've been saying this from day one.
Please go take your epeen somewhere else ive been doing coil since 3 weeks after release and beat t5 like 4 days after BG and not once have i seen a lot of allagan gear i need i welcome this the current coil lock out is a joke and who cares if people that are less skilled can get t1-5 gear, those of us who have done coil ahead of the curve will have 6-9 to grind our faces against just for the same thing to repeat over and over the whole point of teh lock out was to keep us playing when current content becomes obsolete why would you still want a lockout on it
FYI *Spoiler Alert* - Coil 6-9 loot will also be throwaway very soon.
Please look forward to it.
