I know you're angry but I have a feeling turn 6-9 is totally going to be worth it.Anyone else think they shagged the players and guilds that spent 1-2 months working towards getting turn 1-5 down and gear then they removed lockouts after forcing players to spend more time playing their game.
Good job saying F***U to the fcs and guilds that worked it. No point in having guilds in this game anymore its all duty finder
Just by the way the maps looked on the live letter let's just wait and see
what happens.
Those that play on a casual basis can continue to do so, with the amount of accessible content increased.
Those that enjoy overcoming new challenges on a planned schedule with a strong team can continue to do so, with a change of scenery and new fights to learn.
Those that thought that putting in a few months work to clear all the current would earn them fame and adoration, now and forever... well they may have just tasted the hard, salty shaft of reality thrusting through their delusions. You want fame and adoration, perhaps there is perhaps some to be had from clearing the new turns first, or very early on your server. 6-9 will be a new chance for that world first!
All in all, I don't really see any valid complaints about turn 1-5 going on DF. And to be quite honest, it's still not going to be walk in the park, organised FCs will still be the best option for successful filling in those missing slots or gearing alts to ilvl90.
because ilvl90-95 will no longer be the top level gear so there is no point in restricting it.
Oh, nothing's gonna remain the same.~~~

Live in this complicated world with me.~~~
I have been farming Turns 1-5 for a long time now and there are still pieces I have either lost on roll or never seen drop (gloves, boots, earrings) that I would still like to have to flesh out both of my healers. Being allowed to farm 1-5 is something that makes me actually look forward to gearing up and playing my alts. It will give me a chance to practice playing those classes in coil, too. The only thing I am not really a fan of is the nerf in difficulty, but I already knew that was coming a while ago.

Turn 1-5 wont matter no more it just something you do just to get gear for other jobs. So you could do Turn 6-9 better this is done in about all MMO.

I'm all for taking away lock out but.nerfing it.makes me sad.faced.
Its called game progression, they add new things to keep you hooked, and milk you.Anyone else think they shagged the players and guilds that spent 1-2 months working towards getting turn 1-5 down and then they removed lockouts to give the casual players a chance to farm stuff on a plate while those who worked hard on t5 only given the chance to do 1 week on t5 for loot.

Who cares? Chances are crafters will get some new tier of equip that can be slotted to make the current allagan gear a joke anyways to get people grinding the new tomb items (Because we know the crafts will require that)
Does it really matter when you could always get equal gear from mythology without ever setting foot in coil?
None of this matters until they actually fix the horrible itemization in this game. I'm really not looking forward to another situation where AF2 is going to be as good as Allagan 2 but be a reward from easy 4 man dungeons that have no business providing the level of rewards that they do. All the Allagan gear you worked for will mean nothing because it will be replaced with iLevel 100 AF2 that can be farmed by anyone.
