People complained about lockouts being in place. Now people are complaining about them being removed? Good grief...

QQ .. aw why so sad?! Do something else then, and the door is over there ---> Find a different game then this is not for you and others who agree with you. For this is an mmo ...
All mmo game does just that. And it's nothing new.
New content in the game gets old, even if you think it crap but that's how it's works ..
New players may begin to 2.2 and will go through 3 to 4 months will quit before even starting to play.
So why should new players starting 2.2 grind 3 to 4 months just because you did it?
New players will need to still play clear the old contents to catch up to what you do.
.... Although it is a bit easier ..
I don't see the problem.
Other MMOs do it so it's clearly fine to do it here too, it is the "global standard" after all. Originality and coming up with alternatives is too hard and resource consuming, conforming is good after all our loyal fans will keep play anything we throw at them and will keep telling us how great we are.
Standard MMO practice. Grow up and get over it. As new and harder content comes out, and caps increase the previous highest tier stuff is made easier and more accessible.Anyone else think they shagged the players and guilds that spent 1-2 months working towards getting turn 1-5 down and gear then they removed lockouts after forcing players to spend more time playing their game.
Good job saying F***U to the fcs and guilds that worked it. No point in having guilds in this game anymore its all duty finder
The next chapter of this riveting tale begins!
I don't really mind removing the coil lockouts. However, decreasing the difficulty pisses me off a bit. Players should be able to complete T5 properly to go through new content, lowering the difficulty every time a new patch comes out kills the durability of this game. If people would actually have to work properly on coil t1-t5, there would be more competent players in end game contents.
Coil should have been DF-able WITH the lock out. They have the entire game turned into an instant action dungeon romping hub, yet Bahamuts coil requires everyone to be in Wineport for some reason. Also, if anyone is still looking towards this game having any kind of depth to it, they should probably jump out now. The original FFXIV 1.0, as bad as it was, still had a vision closer to making a living world than what the current iteration of the game is and we are mostly dealing with the company now trying to scrap living world elements by making them irrelevant.
Well, it was fun while it lasted, though.

Don't be so dramatic and silly. The idea is that competitive FC's compete to do harder content. Now with new turns in place people are being groomed to be brought up to that level. This is a win win for everyone. Those who casually play, or in smaller guilds can progress easier without creating a massive divide between the FC's and now the competitive FC's have new turns to compete into and more people to pick from who are finally available to get there. It also means that should I take mt level 50 BRD and become a WAR that I can gear up without having to be carried quickly through content to help my company out.Anyone else think they shagged the players and guilds that spent 1-2 months working towards getting turn 1-5 down and gear then they removed lockouts after forcing players to spend more time playing their game.
