They have created different modes for primal fights, I wonder why they don't consider taking that route.

Coil can work like, they release the (extreme mode) first, then come 2.2 they release the (story mode) version of it, but at least keeping the option to do that harder version of coil and maybe omit some loot between the two.

In the current coil you can get the body, weapon and legs, but in story mode those pieces of loot are not obtainable unless you do the original version of coil.

The idea is you still want to exclude people.

You want to experience Coil as it is today (other than ease of access via DF) then just disable your own damned Buff. Or better yet, just make your own premade party for disabling the buff.

As for the new Tomestone, I think these areas (ONLY) will drop them:
Crystal Tower
Ruins of Amdapor
Extreme Trials
Coil Turns 1, 2, 4, 5
Coil2 Turns 6, 7, 8, 9

Maybe having the new tomes in Hard Mode Dungeons and Pharos Sirius.
