I am trying the SS build, just because.. VIVI! Thats why. Anyways, The hero earring gives more SS then the Allagan one, yet your spell speed build lists the allagan one as BiS. Any reason for this? Couldn't find anything on your reddit or google about it...

Today marks the day when I've seen more caster pants than all healing drops combined.

Odd, we started clearing week after world first, still never seen any caster pants.

@Zeronic - Someone actually caught that a while back on reddit.

I just think that Allagan earring is BiS for both SSPD and CRIT sets. The differences are pretty much insignificant unless you have the OCD min-maxer syndrome.

It all comes down to +1.x damage and -0.0025 (est.) sec GCD vs 1.16% crit per cast.


@NeoAmon - About speaking up for blm changes. I believe there's a big thread like that for every classes. One of the SE rep said something about there's no plan on tweaking blm anytime soon and that they're taking notes on our inputs. SE seems to listen to their fans well, so I'm a little more passive towards the issue.

Anyways, as long as good blm players can go toe-to-toe with other good players playing other jobs, then I really don't think it's that big of a big deal. Every jobs have a couple of useless skills that are barely being used as of now, but it would be nice if SE actually design fights that makes some of these skills shine and more useful.

Though there are couple things I'd like to address, such as more unique gear attributes to include skill bonus (ie. +x% chance to proc firestarter, etc..) and customized trait skill tree. A popular suggestion is taking firestarter proc off GCD would give a nice boost to DPS and makes more sense if you take into account how the proc mechanic works, but the proc % chance would have to be reduced to balance the dps output imo.

tl;dr - if you're not always top dps as BLM in every fights, then you're doing it wrong. :P

as blm, i actually use all my skills in titan including sprint except for the apopo thing, freeze bliz 1 2 fire 2 freeze, hawkeye, lethargy sleep and thunder 1

but isnt it conditional? like in titan, bard vs blm is quite a huge difference

Can you please explain how the SS build is optimal? As a caster you really never interrupt your casts? how is that close to reality?

Also what happens while you wait for umbral ice ticks on phase transition? u just do nothing? o0

Grats. My team has gotten to twister but for some reason people are dying to twister while running into position. Not sure what is wrong right now.
