Additional retainer sounds like a horrible idea. Like we need more stuff on the market boards that doesn't sell.

Yeah cause that's all the retainer is used for is selling stuff...not storing the 1 billion items that we cant store in the storage chest in our inns....

Yes, I remember the dev post saying it was planned for 2.15.

Yep there are other reason for more retainers.

1) more storage space

2) now you can have 1 retainer per city (helps to sell items to City-states that have crafts that use them)

3) a 3rd custom NPC that serves to be your slav... I mean indentured servant.

There has also been problems with people unable to complete quests, such as class, job, and main scenario. I am having an issue with a main scenario quest on my one character, as it won't show up what to do like it's supposed to. Like the interactive item does not appear.

There's also the Shield/Sword Oath bug being fixed I believe...that thing is really annoying in Ultima or CT (and I would imagine Titan EX, Ifrit EX and ADS can have problems too, but I'm assuming PLD there know of the bug and/or aren't switching out of Shield Oath during those fights...)

Turning Shield Oath off doesn't trigger the GCD, so it's a simple workaround to just click Shield Oath off, then turn Sword Oath on. Just takes another button press and like .5 more seconds.

I know that...but most PLD...do not

Also, please let there be more retainers...I really need more space to store all my stuff...

someone said an additional retainer but where did they get that idea. the only retainer related thing I heard about (and i thought it was going to be in 2.2) was you could put a retainer in your company hall or something.
