It is all a gamble.
Atm they are completely worthless and take up inventory space.
IN the future they might be needed for big things like Instanced fights, maby a goblin shop, or they could just be desynthable materials like in XI.... issue is we do not know.
Square has never had worthless stuff in a mmo before (they have the only mmos without vendor trash) so chances are it will have use in the future... question is what.
So it is a call you have to make... save them now and lose inventory. Or sell/trash them and risk having to pay 100k per coin later on if they become really useful.
Do you have good friends in-game or a kick-ass linkshell? Here's an idea for relieving some inventory stress:
I'm assuming you have collected different types of beastcoins? Why not work out a deal with your friend(s)/Linkshell to have certain people hang on to certain types of coins? Like Bob can keep all the Sylphic while Mandy keeps the Gobcogs.
That way, you'll only be using a few spaces as opposed to potentially 21 spaces if you kept them all yourself.

More than likely, these beastcoins will have use to purchase beast gear from an NPC in each of the beast tribes... once they open.. interesting how we can go out and murder tons of Sylps, only to go into their town and use the items we took from their family's corpses to purchase goodsAnd they will be perfectly fine with that

It would be pretty cool to see them used at the new beastmen hubs as someone mentioned! I am just keeping mine on my retainer for now... Here's to hoping they wont go to waste!
lol so true
The dev. team let us know that they are uncertain whether or not Beastmen currency will have any specific use in the future.
It’s up to you if you want to hold onto them or sell them!
