Truth be told, PUG party quality has already started to decline, after "peaking" 1-2 weeks ago, IMO. The people who can beat the EX fights and were PUGing them earlier either
A - already got everything they wanted at this point, so they're not pugging unless it's to help a friend in a PUG.
B - found some group during their pugs and is not pugging that much anymore
C - only create and join "clears only" party.
Sure, there's always a stream of good new players attempting the content, but right now, I fell it's kinda swallowed by the mountains of "farming parties" that don't farm, "learning parties" that kick people over the smallest mistakes, and "weekly clear" parties that won't allow newcomers to join. This should get even worse once people get all 8 weapons.
My honest opnion is that it's best to start now if you're planning to PUG, as it's only going downhill.

While there is truth to what you say. I feel like with the addition of PF the quality of DF parties declined. Not in terms of not being able to finish certain encounters but in terms of tolerance and impatience. The farm/clears/no beginner parties were there already but only in terms of shouts which isn't quite as visual as seeing them all written down in a list.
What happened to the op is nowhere near okay and from personal experience I can only say those people aren't the norm at least on Sargatanas but I don't think we have some kind of exclusive contract with nice people who are just as much fed up with jerks like you are.

I will be honest, I have no issues with parties that want to down content and don't accept newcomers / kick weaker links, as long as it is clearly labeled and is done in a non abusive way. I create those parties as well.
What I meant to say with my post is that there were more "newcomers allowed" parties that actually tried for more than 3 wipes 1-2 weeks ago, and that the quality of players itself was better. Right now it's almost exclusively "have 99% dodge rate or get kicked" parties that are up on PF, the number of actual "patient" learning parties is getting lower and lower.
Which is why I said that it might not be a good idea to wait to pug ex primals.
