The only solution is to stop playing. It's easier to take in the reality of this game's situation when you stop caring and play games that are actually fun. You can always come back when/if they fix it.

I agree wholeheartedly but it's easier said than done. It's tough to abandon avatars that feel like a part of yourself. That's why still log in, if only for a few minutes or an hour every few days. Been trying to find a fun MMO with my small circle to pass the time for now, but I'm a creature of habit lol
Don't play an MMO? There are tons of other multiplayer games with ten times the fun and one tenth the time investment/frustration.I agree wholeheartedly but it's easier said than done. Yeah, I just re-read the last producer's later, and the only thing he promised for 1.18 was guildleve reward adjustment and auto-attack, along with an auto-attack video. 7 months of Battle system planning, 2 months since the last patch, and all they can guarantee is auto-attack.lack of content has always been a major flaw of this game, and yet they have ignored it for 6 months. It was the number 1 voted change in NA. the thing is, lack of content becomes a bigger problem the longer the games been out. Its understandable on release day that we dont have that much content, but 9 months later? really?
IMO the battle system rework first was a big mistake, or at the very least they should have found a way to do it much faster. Its amazing when you realize this game is virtually the same content wise as the day it shipped. Really need rapidfire changes now, and in all honesty it needs to be more than what they expect for end of summer. the list is pretty bare in all honesty, when you look at what they actually say they are planning to implement over the next 3 months.
Agreed, I would nominate Demon's Souls. It's a little like an MMO and you can get it for $15 or so. It's an incredible experience, much more memorable than FFXIV.

lol I started doing some PSN trophy battles with a friend of mine actually to help pass the time. An issue I have is that they don't release many RPGs anymore (and the immersive storyline games are really all I feel like playing), particularly for PS3, considering I've played/own tons already for PS1/PS2 haha
Ah Demon's Souls... I loved that game. Very challenging and very engaging. I managed to get the "Toughest Soul (Platinum)" trophy ^_^
The next one should be good!
