    3's premades are a cancer - every team, without exception. These people don't care about the competition or how they impact the community, they only care about their points and guaranteed 90%+ win rates versus uncoordinated pubs. Human nature, I guess.

    I don't really like 3 man queuing. In fact, I mostly agree with what you said. Despite all that, I still 3 man queue as much as possible. I feel a little guilty, but not badly enough to make it worth solo queuing as a BLM. Heres a simple breakdown of why solo queuing as BLM is equivalent to suicide.

    - Expect 2/3 of tanks to disregard your warnings about breaking sleeps, and break all your sleeps.
    - You're focus target #1, every time. Once your friendly neighborhood tank breaks your sleeps, and they all bumrush you, you will literally spend close to 90% of each match getting bashed and interrupt spammed. Glass cannon role? Forget that man, this meta is about being a meatshield for your team - get as much vitality as you can, use the pvp weapon for morale, and pray you can land some sleeps that aren't instantly purified or broken, because you're in for a wild ride.
    - 10 min queues versus 1-4 min queues (in 3 man queue).
    - Since most 3 man premades queue with 2 DPS/1Heal, you're more likely to get drafted versus a premade than with one. Have fun getting clubbed by double SMN all day with your team of solo queue players.

    So, 4 man queues take 20 mins, and solo queues are a 10 min wait for a 20% win rate. That leaves 3 man queues. This isnt all because of the community is crap (which is partly true), a large part of the blame lies on SE for having an obviously poorly designed and balanced PvP system. I do understand no PvP is perfect at release, but at the rate this is going at, PvP will be completely dead until they make some major changes. And who knows how long that could be...

    Everything in this post is 100% accurate.





    Average game as a solo BLM:

    You enter and see you're with a WHM in unmelded NQ wolf gear, a MNK in full darklight, and a PLD with two pieces of direwolf that he melded with pure accuracy. You glance through the gate and see a SCH fairy and a poorly hidden garuda.

    You: I'm gonna keep the healer slept in the beginning, please don't wake him up

    Nobody responds. The game starts and you manage to catch 2-3 people in an opening sleep without using any CDs. Their SCH purifies immediately so you swiftcast sleep or use nightwing before getting stunned by their WAR and dotted up by their SMN. Your healer is nowhere to be found and your PLD is making a bee line for their sleeping SCH so Cover and Testudo are out of the question. You purify and instantly use Aetherial Manipulation on your MNK who is just now leaving the starting gate.

    Miasma is reapplied and before you can slowly limp out of their LoS you get Holmgang'd. Now that you're back in their territory you can clearly see that your PLD is bound but he accomplished his mission of smacking their SCH, who is now freecasting. You desperately
    use your remaining CDs (nightwing, swiftcast, equanimity) in a futile attempt to CC ANYONE before you die.

    Your healer: sleep is so f%@&#ing op wwdswwww

    Over the next 20s you watch your teammates get obliterated. You get raised with a non-upgraded divine breath at some time. Within half a second of being raised you get destroyed again.


    -Final stats-
    Your team-
    MNK - 1,283 dmg done
    PLD - 3,719 dmg done
    You - 0 dmg done, 2 deaths
    Their team-
    BLM - 564 dmg done
    WAR - 13,029 dmg done, 1 killing blow
    SMN - 32,601 dmg done, 4 killing blows

    Your PLD: wwow are blm wuz f@&%#ing tarrible 0 dmg 2 deths rofl

    Then you get to sit in queue for 10 mins and do it all again.

    In here it's specified that in 2.15(coming this month) they're looking to fix both the "OPness" of Arcanist classes, fix jumping and fix abuse of 3-man premades
