that 3 million gil was saved up from story line, quests, and walking almost everywhere (rarely spent money on teleports). that money i saved legally (not rmt) was for my crafting expenses and had also been saving for housing.
who knows what else is gone cuz i didnt even spend the time looking. once i saw all my money gone it killed the whole game for me and that was after an hour of being on it.
Yeah im glad yall dont care. just remember your replies you give to someone for when something like this happens to you. anyway screw it... congrats SE on convicing someone to not come back to this game.
Thank god this free weekend showed me what i would have come back too. saves me the $13 and being pissed.
Enjoy yall.....

I see you're on the same server as the OP! How nice of you to offer to give him 3m, since to you it's just gil and you obviously don't care about it while he doesWhat do you do with 3 mil gil anyways? There's no proper gil sink except FC housing at the moment. I understand your frustration, but of all the things you could've possibly complained about, you choosing your gil is ... funny.
By the way, gil is easier to get now. 3 mil doesn't take long to get back.![]()

Gesh some of you people are so mean ._.
Doesn't matter what he was going to do with it or why he needed it, he had it and now it's gone.
Well even when support opens back up on Monday you should still be able to call in and tell em, they still might be able to fix it for when you come back. If you decide too.
You people are acting like his complaint isn't even legitimate.

I feel bad that your gil was stolen and it sucks. It would suck if the pittance I have were taken too. Just file a ticket and report it. I am not sure how some third party hacking into your account is anymore SE's fault than someone breaking into a bank and robbing your safety deposit box, though. Blame the hacker not SE...

Lol well OP I hope most of the people's responses in here has shown you (aside from the money issue, which i totally believe) the state of the game and its community. I do wish you luck on your search for the next big mmo out there... atm there really isnt much. ESO has a weekend showing beta but im already hearing bad things about that (severe bugs)..
All in all sorry to see someone with a legitimate complaint get blasted and leave, good luck to you in the future my friend.
I never said his complaint was unwarranted. But if missing gil is enough to make him quit without even contacting SE, then I don't see a potential long-term customer in him anyways.
Dailies, treasure hunts, roulette, sell tomes from roulette, farm a stack or two of whatever is valuable at the time, repeat for a week or two. And all that is if you're not interested in crafting or playing the market. Bonus points if you are.
Actually, if I had a guarantee he would play and not quit again a month or two later, then I'm all for supporting the community, so long as SE doesn't peg me for suspected RMT.

Okay, here's the question noone's asked. November of last year, or November of the year before. If it was last year, that sucks but only thing you can do is file a ticket or call a GM. If it was the year before... then that lost 3,000,000g (I assume you have 300,000g left) is called the Legacy Tax and there's nothing you can do to get it back. Everyone who carried their characters over from 1.0 were hit with it in an effort to keep all that old gil from 'destroying the economy' of 2.0. Of course, the real rich of 1.0 were still rich, the tax hit the not so rich the hardest. I started 2.0 with 30,000g out of 300,000g at the end of 1.0.

If you were a new player with 3m gil you probably bought it. SE seized all the gil from people with too much gil or who used RMT services.
If you were legacy and had not played since launch, you lost 90% of your gil.
