No Letter from the Producer XI ?

Yoshida was spotted at E3 so no one should have been expecting a full fledged letter or video this week anyways. He's back in the office as of this week which probably gave them ample time to throw together a video in his absence.

I would expect one this week.

I think a majority of the problem is, SE told as they had this wondrous present they were putting together just for us but never followed up with a "it's coming along well. just a few more weeks, Jimmy" or "it might take a little longer than we expected, sorry." update every week or so.

I think those short lines would go a long, long way to appeasing people. Nothing else needs be explained, but it would be appreciated. Just every monday, the latest status is put online.

You are aware people do show up to E3 to watch the show right? Boby Kotick was there and he didn't do crap besides get turned away from the Battlefront 3 booth "untrue rumor but it was funny one"

I'd have figured he and everyone else with a job to do would have other businesses to attend, on the eve of the first overhaul patch no less, but I guess as long as the company pays for the trip....

I find it hard to believe he was actually there though. Wada was spotted, Kitase and Toriyama were spotted, but no sign of Yoshida (aside from Shuhei Yoshida) as far as I know.

Fun fact: both XIII-2 and XIV have Matsui as their battle directors. Sounds like a common surname.

Hundreds of producers and designers go that currently have undeveloped games and or are currently developing games. This is not new news >_>

It's not like the XIV team grinds to a halt with Yoshida gone for a few days at E3, wether he was there or not is up to speculation. But being able to go around looking at the games being created and developed for all genres and systems is something every developer/producer should "Make time for" even if they are in a massive time crunch.

It's a once a year experience to get the western markets take on new games and new tech, just as every developers should find there way to TGS and other game trade shows in eruope. It's the best way to get perspective to if your product will be recieved well in those markets and what you can do to improve them.

In Japan alot of surnames are extremly common I've know 3 Yoshida's myself and none of them are related.
