New policy:
Drop 3 times and you get placed in an 'in-progress dungeon'...
with 3, 7, or 23 AI characters that just run around spamming emotes.

How about remove the party where it shows a dungeon progress, if it is one that's in progress, thus making nobody knows if it is in progress or not
To take this further, the only problem i see is someone queueing for 30 minute and get into a dungeon that will be hopless (3 players left in CT for example)
But then again, if the progress line was there, they might still go in to try their luck, come back out and queue again
I'm actually surprised the 'people leaving after loot' problem only seems to be arising now... I really still don't get why SE truely thought it was a good idea to have a loot lockout and not a dungeon lockout. yes, yes it's nice if you can help someone in your FC and whatever, but considering you a) can't do a full 24 man run and b) can't invite people from your friendslist/linkshell/free company into a run that has already started ... the whole point about 'you can help even if you already did it' just becomes incredibly unimportant.
granted it would probably be even more annoying if you could only run it once since it would take forever to get your loot, but surely there has to be a way to fix this.
I've not done CT myself yet, so I don't know how big the impact of 2-3 people leaving really is (I guess it also depends on if they all leave in different groups or if one group is left with 5 people all of a sudden), but it's definitely quite... suckish.
oh well, found that just secs ago:Not exactly, certain body parts are from certain bosses. So for example, someone who wants MNK body, would rather enter during Behemoth phase than from start. Getting the myth/phil stones at the end is fun too... considering u just wasted 10 min of the time to get what you wanted instead of running from scratch.

maybe helpful not only for me!
It'll probably be complaints about how the group is disbanding because tanks/healers left, and no one is joining because all those "fishers" are locked out (and doing other things while you wait in the instance).
Please look forward to the 'fix.'Greetings,
The development team is aware of the fact that there are some players who will constantly withdraw when you are being matched with players via the Duty Finder. They plan on implementing countermeasures for this to decrease the frequency in which this happens; however, they will not be able to address this right away as there are other wrapped up with other high priority tasks. On another note regarding this, we do not plan on giving penalties to these players who withdraw when you are getting ready to commence due to the fact that there is a possibility that players who do not have malicious intent could be penalized.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
edit: As much as we would all love for people withdrawing to get a penalty I doubt it will happen. The best we can hope for is SE taking off the 1/x progress so people have to go in blind.

Now recruiting for our 2nd Coil Team
What about people who wants to do full dungeons but got into it half way because they didn't know?
There are many instance where getting in progress is beneficial(example when a player rage quits, should the whole pt suffer and exit dungeon?)To take this further, the only problem i see is someone queueing for 30 minute and get into a dungeon that will be hopless (3 players left in CT for example)

We should be look for a way to hide the progress status like 2/3... 1/3... etc, instead it should just say "Progress", if people withdraw multiple times, they should have a lock out period.
Multiple ways to fix this.
People who spam withdraw more than 4 times within a certain amount of time get a 30 min lockout timer just like people who abandon.
People who leave the dungeon early because they get their loot on first/second/third boss, put all the chests at the end of the run.
It gets very frustrating queuing up just to see people spamming withdraw because they would rather not do the dungeon and make everyone else have a miserable time waiting to get in. Even queuing up as a full party for CT, we had to wait for 20 minutes because so many people were spamming withdraw. Don't get me started on the people that leave as soon as they get their drop. Loot should be awarded after the dungeon.
people not paying attention or changing there minds last sec.

People would go even more crazy to just join the last boss.... UNLESS!!! Tadatada!!! You make the players able to roll only if they were there for the kill of the corresponding boss for each chest.
