Disable pet hotbar bug?

Character Config -> Hotbar Settings -> Display Tab -> Uncheck the Pet Hotbar Display box in the list. Pet bar go poof that way.

I appreciate the answer, however I've tried this and it does nothing for me. The option IS under Character Congig> Hotbar Settings > Cross Hotbar, which leads me to believe that it ONLY works on the ps3, which would be absolute BS. Still can't find any way to disable it. Have posted a similar thread to this under bug reports, if mine really is bugged out in some way

I did manage to disable the PC version, but still cant enable the controller version.

How did you manage to disable in on the PC? I would VERY much like to know!
