Absolutely no reduced SP. Straight WoW style autocooking.

A memory controller allows some players to do this anyway, so there's little point in not allowing all players to do it. To keep the system as it is favors mindless timespamming as the primary mechanism to earn reward, and that's just not very legitimate gameplay when the activity is so boring that everyone needs supplemental entertainment to get through it. It also favors botcrafters and memory controllers who set it and forget it.

Crafters who have multiple R50s wouldn't even be hurt. The price of materials would go up to buffer the loss of time as an asset price keeping many people away from crafting. Increased price would more evenly distribute profits to gatherers, and the shard market would improve. It'd be an economic stimulus.

The concept that crafters should gain reward for the time it takes to level it is no longer a legitimate thing. With rampant cheating and memory controlling that is going on at multiple R50 crafter venues, wanting the system to stay this way is tantamount to wanting people with memory controllers to have permanent advantage assuming the botters are all banned. That's simply not fair.

The objective level of boredom in crafting is not equal for all players, and the system is favoring those who use memory controllers to progress.

It's so mindnumbing that even if you would reward people who can sit through that many life hours hitting the same button over and over...why would you? Is that entertainment?

Spare the STF the time to investigate AFK crafting too. With this new system, it becomes legal.

Again, most crafters who continue to craft have copped out and taken to memory controlling their progress while monitoring for GM tells. This lets them play without playing. Crafting concentrates players who can play without playing.

We need to undo that tendency, and an autoleveller would be a primary way. Crafting is boring. Some crafters want it to stay boring, because they have set up ways to eliminate that boredom which not every player can. The system is thus unfair.

No crafter is spamming enter to 4 R50 synths without supplemental entertainment up, and if they are they need professional help. Just eliminate the enter mashing. If players aren't doing crafting because it's too much enter mashing, then the people who CAN tolerate enter mashing are just taking advantage of bad gameplay.

Make it fun or make it automated. Crafting is a waste of a human life right now.

People should not think they deserve advantage simply because their memory controller allows them to invest less in crafting than other players. Crafting's not so bad when the only thing you have to do to progress in it is watch for GM tells.

Those people who are on 4 hour synth grind sessions are either catatonic schizophrenics, autistics, memory controllers, or botcrafters. Those are the people at extreme crafting advantage, and it's not that legitimate.
