i90 Does not make you a good player

I guess my main point is that having full i90 doesn't give you a right to act like you're better than everyone else (not that anything really gives you the right). Especially when 100% of it is myth bought.

I'm not saying being full myth makes you a bad player, I just found my experiences with elitism being with those who were majority myth'd out.

I just love the biggest jerk with full i90 being the worst person in the party.

Yep, completely agree. I also think it is sad someone can make literally *one* mistake and people will drop from these parties. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get the party on the same page, and obviously mistakes can happen. Chill out people. Some parties are definitely a pit of despair you don't want to fall in.. but a lot of things can be worked out with a tad of patience.

This happened on Saturday. I was in a Ultima party and the WAR and a BRD got Butt hurt that we wiped at around 50% on the first try. The WAR said nope and left and the BRD said it was crappy and left. Long story Short found a new tank and BRD went in beat him on the 2nd try. I hate people who get butt hurt over silly little things, I could see if it happened for 30mins or more but damn 5mins in and you rage quit time to play a new game.

Actually, a player being bad gives me that right very much so, as well as someone being in Full AF1 with sub 50 Accessories... As well as someone who says they don't need to use some of their skills in a group.....

Seems like a lot of factors can give me that right.

Oh and PS, I have the right to act however I choose since I live in a world that allows me to role play as someone else. Perhaps my Character is arrogant? Or perhaps, she is a Veteran? Or maybe even a Re-awoken Warrior of Light back to save Eorzea AGAIN? Any of those can give you the right to act as you choose. How the other people around you take said attitude is entirely up to them. But I don't think anyone will ever appreciate your attempt at controlling others behaviors.

Actually I got a bunch of myth from AK, and Coil, as well as a 4/5 Allagan Tank set too. Thanks for judging me before asking me what I have, Oh, I also have 2/3 Primal Tank Accessories. (Titan and Ifrit) Did I buy those too?

Thanks for assuming I yell at people BTW. "Act Better" is not a definitive rotation of speech, or behavior. Acting better is just that. Acting BETTER. As in I tank properly, and call out when other don't. Using skills properly, and calling out when others mis use them. Leading a Raid, when others fail to take leadership properly, and bark out incorrect strategies.

Beating WP SR's over and over again doesn't make you a good player, and the Mythology Tomestone instances should be much harder and require more thought and skill to complete.

You want gear to represent skill (As do I). In most cases a full ilvl90 player today still has a higher probability of being skilled. Wait 2 more months, and then you will see the unskilled Myth Cappers in full AF+1 who hav eno idea what theyre doing after WP and AK.

By "the bottom line", I ment the bottom line of my previous post. Which you thought was directed at you being full myth, was actually directed at am0n. Who was generally trolling and saying full i90 myth makes you superior. I didn't mean it was the bottom line / the main point. It would be nice if ilvl corresponded to what level player you are (with the exception of probably twin drops). But regardless, my point was it doesn't give you a right to be a elitist jerk for no reason. Your reasons seem somewhat validated in the sense that you're correcting what the party needs to do in order for the objective to be completed. I was thinking more along the lines of being a flat out jerk simply BECAUSE you're i90. Just because, for no reason at all.

Just be cause they don't know the fights doesn't me they don't know what they are doing, they just haven't done it before to learn the mechanics just like ANYONE'S first time through. Give them one time through and they will be fine, plus they will have the gear that just might keep the party alive that first time through. Seems like you would actually want myth geared people to do coil right? Or are you perfect in every new fight? Like magic?
