If jobs aren't in 1.18, I know a ton of people who won't be playing anymore.
Really a shame if they're not in.

LOL then those ppl best be quitting now because Jobs will not be in 1.18... SE has already said wont be until after the battle changes which is 1.18.
IMO if ppl expect more then 2 Dungeons, 10 Quests, Maybe a mission quest or 2, the start of battle updates, potential nerf of Emulate in 1.18 then they are sadly mistaken because that is all 1.18 is going to be most likely.

Those people would need reading comprehension lessons since at no time was it ever said or posted that 1.18 would have jobs in it. In fact, to expect that is pretty unreasonable.

just one more of the people that left that game did so because of their fault. place blame where it should go. the people that leave this game have left because it was not up to their expectations and continues to underwhelm. no matter how low you set your hopes for 1.18 most people will still be upset that by the end of the summer we will be almost a year from release and it is not massively better. to expect a game to become more fun to play from sept-nov was unreasonable, but by the end of summer we will be close to 1 year.

You're talking about something completely different, and it is a point that I would agree with. Quitting a game after a year because it is still no fun is understandable. However, raging because a new system was not in a patch when they never said it was going to be there in the first place, and in fact pretty much told us it would NOT be, is unreasonable....just one more of the people that left that game did so because of their fault. place blame where it should go. the people that leave this game have left because it was not up to their expectations and continues to underwhelm. no matter how low you set your hopes for 1.18 most people will still be upset that by the end of the summer we will be almost a year from release and it is not massively better. to expect a game to become more fun to play from sept-nov was unreasonable, but by the end of summer we will be close to 1 year.

all i was saying is the people that have stuck with this game so far i cannot blame if they leave. if they stayed this long they wanted the game to succeed, but each person has their point in which they give up. i can't say even if someone quit today it was unreasonable because they have played it for months without any significant improvement. You're talking about something completely different, and it is a point that I would agree with. i know that they have no stated this will be in there, but you must also realize that every post asking for anything fun in game was met with wait until after 1.18 responses. with this the defenders of the game have set high expectations for those wanting other things besides auto attack added. those super high expectations are unlikely to be met. me i am more patient and willing to give them until the end of summer and test out what all has been put in and make a decision based off that.
