Pharos Sirius - Too difficult for randoms

I disagree. Healers and Tanks have long blamed dps for their failings. These new dungeons are showing where the problems have always been. Healers are used to either being or healing over geared players and are not up to the task when they are healing ilvl appropriate content.

Are you joking? Healers and tanks have always been the blamed ones, since world is world, and often the ones carrying others. And in my only Pharos pug, as a healer I was the only one getting blamed for Siren fails while dpses weren't bothering to kill adds and tank wasn't bothering with stunning anything.

way harder than ak, drops the same gear as ak. needs to be tuned down a bit. someone link a video of i50-55 people getting through as that's the intended ilvl.

You can heal the tank through the massive attack if you get the tank to kill eggs. Zu spawns too many adds, you get massively overwhelmed, I think it's a better idea to get the tank to smash eggs and get dps to focus the boss as she takes extra damage when you break eggs.

Siren is a bitch on healers though.

If you get massively overwhelmed at Zu, you're doing it wrong.
When eggs light up, destroy the lit eggs except for one. Kill all lit eggs and you're going to wipe to enrage.

Siren isn't bad at all, IF Lunatic Voice is stunned or silenced as it's supposed to be and IF the adds are kept off the healer.

People seems to think that they can just zerg through stuff instead of following simple mechanics...

I've had only one run in this dungeon, went there as a healer with a friend's bard. Neither of us knew what to do, neither did the random DD, but the tank did and he was patient enough to teach us. We wiped 3-4 times on Siren but managed to do it. It was a positive experience all in all. Think I'll read the tactics again at some point to refresh my memory so I can teach other newbies if it ever comes to that. n_n

Pretty much the only thing that's wrong with this dungeon is the requirement ilvl and the fact that undergear players are throw into it via DR, especially the healers. I laugh at the patch note the moment I saw the average ilvl for Titan EX starts from 67, that's when I know all those new item level requirement is BS.

The minimum required ilvl serves two purposes...

Gives a hint to way undergeared people that they need to gear up before attempting the content.
Gives a hint at when it's reasonable for a good experienced group to begin attempting it.

The minimum required ilvl is NOT a hint to players that anyone or everyone can and should be able to do it at that ilvl average.
A lot of players need to be overgeared for content because they're simply not skilled enough to pull it off otherwise.
It also doesn't help things that people equip accessories that are not intended for their current role just to bypass the ilvl average requirements.

As of now, it seems that the required ilvl seems more like bare-minimum possible level for skilled players. Unfortunately, most people doesn't see it that way or agree to it. I hope they would raise most, if not all the current "required" ilvl and change the term to recommended ilvl instead.

The dungeon definitely does not need to be nerfed. It's nice to have at least one 4-man that isn't completely faceroll for people in endgame gear.

The minimum item level is definitely way too low, however. I simply do not see an AF-geared healer succeeding in that dungeon unless they are extremely experienced with it. It should be closer to 60-65. It should also drop some better gear, like i65 or i70 stuff, instead of dropping the exact same crap you can get in AK, but that's another complaint.
