But it's not new generated gil. That's the point. Generated gil is new, unchangeable, and ADDS to the economy. Also doesn't depend on a buyer, and no undercutting. Also maps are likely to go for prices less than 12k soon (13.5k on my server, 2 days ago), meaning less than the amount of gil generated by it.

Pretty much. Maps on Balmung go for about 15k ish. So 8 x 15k = 120,000 for far less work than hunting down each treasure.

Running high level dungeons with your FC will produce like 4k/person/run.

another good way to make $$ . Do dungeon runs . Everyone wants stones anyway so kill all the mobs in the dungeon you get close to 4k each that is 16k for 30 mins of work . so say you run the dungeon 5 times ( 2 and a half hours ) that is 80k times 7 days is 560k that is just for one group . SO say you have 20 full time members on . that is 5 groups so take 560k times 5 equals 2.8 mil a week . Add in the treasure map farming from time to time and selling the bonus items you are looking at around 4mil a week want the small house 2 weeks its yours . Want the mega big house will take 41 weeks

On Hyperion last week maps were 22k each. This week around 15k, although I haven't checked in the last couple days. I don't expect that price to sustain itself much longer, since the market is getting more and more flooded with them.

My FC does this, too. That along with addition donations at the end of each treasure hunt.

@ that fishing guide: You can't actually fish at the lighthouse until lv15, you can fish on the nearby coastline though.
