Can the PC players give the PS3 players a break a little?

Well, not much of a choice. Content is content and passing and failing is just a fine line. The content in FFXIV is unforgiving to PS3 players and lower end PC users.

I think its the PS3 users themselves that hold them back not "PS3 Limitations" I'm a PS3 user and the minor issues which I believe to be on SEs side doesn't effect me from doing any content. Now for the PS3 loading time yeah that's complete garbage and has gotten worse since 2.1 use to be 8-10sec now it seems to be around 25secs. Other than loading times for Zoning and CS's I really don't understand what the big fuss is about.

I had one issue about PS3, I was leveling WAR in Haukke Manor. I was trying to mark the mobs because as a blm I loved having them marked. However, the BLM was marking them before I could or while I was. When I asked twice not to do that because I was trying to practice, I got told I was too slow. He asked if I was on a PS3 and then told me how to speed it up on the PC. I told him I was PS3 and he said oh well.

Easy I play PLD/WAR make 3 macros for marking targets 1-3 usually don't have to deal with more than 3 marking and if you do you can just reassign them. Quick tip you can cycle through mobs by holding either L2 and R2 and just pressing L1 or L2 for fast targeting. Also most tanks don't mark anything and it sucks PC or PS3 users. I have Shield Lob and Tomahawk macro with Marking 1 <t> so ppl know which I'm going for 1st.


As for the OP I haven't seen any PC user only stuff since a month or so after launch and that's because everyone and their moms wanted to SR Praet and didn't want to wait on us PS3 users to load CS's

Makes me laugh sometimes this whole PC vs PS3 thing, I put an SSD in my PS3 (combined with my awesome net connetion, I live right on top on the phone/net exchange lol) and I load dungeons before all the other players on both PC and PS3
Spend £100+ on an SSD for the PS3 and get a keyboard for chat - it'll make all the difference on a budget

I have them on the bar on a second bar so a quick R1 and click seperately. Then R1 back to my abilities. It just wasn't fast enough for him. no one else has ever complained. Most people are just happy I mark, lol.

I play on PC on max while my bro plays on ps3. IMO the worst problem (for me) is targeting with ps3. If there are a lot of enemies and u need to grab one ASAP, tabbing thru all the enemies to get to the specific one isn't as fast as just clicking on it with ur mouse and ur prone to mistakenly targeting the wrong one. (As a tank). On a side note, I was doing titan me with ppl on vent, 1 drg joined and said that's he's on ps3. One guy on vent said "his value just dropped by 80%"

I'm being very sarcastic here.

Not all of us PC users mind, much less care, if someone they're with is playing this game on a console or PC.

Some of my company's best players are using their PS3. Others use a gamepad on the PC. Discriminating against people based on the system they use is silly.

No one can tell Im on the PS3 unless they pay close attention to load times...and even then most dont know or care.

No one playing with me can tell at all (outside of CS silliness); in fact, when people find out they often ask me if Im joking.

Can i just say i'm glad no one has posted something about that stupid "PC master race" meme? I hate that so much, those that use it don't seem to get where the phrase comes from, or care, and and then get all annoyed when you call them on it. :P

It's not the PS3 itself that is limited so much as the players who are using the medium itself.

I've never seen a shout for PC players only. Everyone I've met is utterly indifferent to the fact that I play on PS3,these forums are the only place where I've seen people care what others play on. And as someone said it, could I get a full list of what the PS3 limits? Genuinely curious,I see the phrase brought up a _ lot but when pressed these limitations are rather vague.
