Can the PC players give the PS3 players a break a little?

1st: on PS3 we got to go through two loading screens to skip the cutscenes. Takes about 30's seconds. Most of us are not using a solid state drive on there PS3 with the PS4 launching not worth it.

2nd: Ps3 users do not have the same UI as PC so, We need to do the RB,select the set then use then RB back holding the right trigger activate the ability and slower, or have the locked trigger just as slow. We do not got the options to see four sets at once and use the D-Pad up and down to select the Sets with the controller.

3rd: When were in a animation motion we do not move fast enough and If we guess what we see is just as slower.

Sure there more from other vets on PS3 . But can you give us a break.

Well, not much of a choice. Content is content and passing and failing is just a fine line. The content in FFXIV is unforgiving to PS3 players and lower end PC users.

At the end of the day an average to good ps3 player is better than a bad to average PC player. Skill means mote than the system you play on.

I've never seen a shout for PC players only. Everyone I've met is utterly indifferent to the fact that I play on PS3,these forums are the only place where I've seen people care what others play on. And as someone said it, could I get a full list of what the PS3 limits? Genuinely curious,I see the phrase brought up a _ lot but when pressed these limitations are rather vague.

The biggest problem with the PS3 (and low end rigs) is when you start turning the game into a slideshow on certain boss phases (I've heard this happens on Garuda's tornadoes for instance, I don't have a PS3 so I can't confirm). Other than that most of the things are just minor annoyances, like needing to wait a minute for someone to load in.

As for controller VS KB, I play with a gamepad on PC and I largely prefer it over using M+KB. This game was designed with controllers at least partially in mind so it's missing things a lot of other RPGs have (like skill bloat) that would make the large amount of buttons on KB necessary. You might occasionally be short a few buttons if you want to set everything on your palette, but that's where smart macroing/crosshotbar display comes into play. If you do not configure these correctly you'll spend way too much time fumbling with the R1 page change which will affect your performance. If you don't do smart macros/crosshotbar settings while you're on PS3 or PC Gamepad you're just being a bad player.

I had one issue about PS3, I was leveling WAR in Haukke Manor. I was trying to mark the mobs because as a blm I loved having them marked. However, the BLM was marking them before I could or while I was. When I asked twice not to do that because I was trying to practice, I got told I was too slow. He asked if I was on a PS3 and then told me how to speed it up on the PC. I told him I was PS3 and he said oh well.

Marking on ps3 is achievable with practice. I can mark 1 and 2 on the mobs, (no need to mark more than that generally), as I run up before I get into tomahawk range so no slow down at all.
