    2. Enable the ability to choose your loot rules.
I despise most of your suggestions, but this one needs to die. Especially in any DF group. Too many times in WoW i've seen complete abuses of it, just, NO. You'd see FC's not let any pug members get any loot, even if their members didn't need it. Also, run once a week but allow multiple looting? Yeah, that's fair, even worse if coupled with the above. If people could only run once a week, the queues would be tons longer, and defeat a lot of the point of it. CT is fine, fun and if you don't like it, go to Coil, sounds like where you should be if you consider yourself hardcore.

I would like to highlight another problem with the current looting setup in CT. If everybody passes/leaves the instance on Acheron, the remaining player automatically gets stuck with the gear. This happened to me on Tuesday night. I got stuck with a piece of gear I can't even use and locked out of the loot table for the rest of the week. This same looting mechanic applies to all the dungeons but its not usually a problem because you can earn more than 1 piece of gear per week (as long as its not an item you already posess). Obviously this is rediculous. At least give EVERY player the chance to pass if you are going to limit loot to 1 piece per week.

    This is what I propose:
    1. Raise the weekly loot cap. Either one loot per 3, 4 days or 2 loot per week. Preferably 1 need, 1 greed or 2 greed for the second option.
    2. Lockout loot until the dungeon is completed. Players can only fight for a "reserve" status of a particular loot, and only claimed them at the end of the dungeon. This might however, be a problem for players who left the dungeon early via DC kick or vote kick.
    3. Combine the BC's weekly lockout and mytho's token system for CT. Grant a player a token for each successful CT run. With enough of these tokens, say 30 tokens, players can purchased a particular CT gear of their choice from NPC at Revenant's Toll just like the mytho gears. The purchase will count towards the weekly limit and these tokens will be reset to nil upon weekly reset. (This run together with the current looting system, meaning we can get random loot from box and purchase chosen loot with tokens)
    4. (To-be-debated) Rise the chances of loots dropping corresponding to the DPS jobs in the party by a small amount, say 5%. Effect capped at 2 stacks, so if say there's 4 BLMs, there will only be a 10% increase in chance of dropping BLM gear.

    Diagreed with both!
2- so if the alliance isn't able to complete the dungeon, and it happens, but deafeated a few bosses, they lose that loot as well?
3- that way if a player doesn't have enough time to run so many times a week, it's like he did nothing, while like it is now you can either get lucky and get your drop right away or, if you know you're out of time, you can just greed on something for another class, so you never stay with 0 loot.

    2. still need some working on.
    3. This go together with the current loot. Meaning we can either get random loot from the box, or purchase the one we like after running it X number of times.

On topic, making everybody want to play melees and introducing a new battle that requires ranged...doesn't seem quite well thought.
I was in a party yesterday with 3 dragoons. I was one of them. We blitzed through Atomos and all other bosses. On Atamos, one just had to hang back on the platform and killed adds while myself and the other killed Atomos. Its not a problem!

And the loot dropping for classes that aren't in your party - didn't we all have this discussion months ago but it was the primal fights then. It drops for classes that aren't in your party - suck it up, run it again!

Problem is if to drag adds to melees reach you have all the aoes nuking people on the platform. I rather go cleric stance and kill them before they get near :P After all that fight requires almost no healing, especially if you can prevent the aoes getting to people.

Then it's all another story, I'm totally for it!

It's also possible to swap members with other party, which I haven't saw it happening often enough. I had a run once when our bard when over to help out another team that was lacking on DPS. I think we should interact with the other alliance members more often other than just the occasional raising of dead alliance member :/

And while I'm on this, I was hoping provoke and protect work for alliance member as well.

    This may get flamed...but..eh..whatever.
I am kinda glad its only 1 piece per week because I don't have a whole heck of a lot of time to play. I wouldn't call myself casual but I have full time job, wife and 2 kids. I can't just play anytime.

If CT was a kill as much as you wanted or just more loot being available I'd prioritize it more and I already have a large list of things I have to do when I log in. I also really dislike the zerg mentality you get in some groups. Group A charges in while Group B is still buffing. So doing it until I get a piece of gear is nice, then im done.

I wish we could change that when peopel bail after loot. So incredibly rude and disrespectful to the other people.

they are not going to shorten the timer, they put it in to extend the duration of the content. the thing that really sucks is stuff falling to the ground.

easiest way to fix this. stop having the bosses drop loot. have the first 2 bosses drop a ticket for either Hands, Feet or Belt, the last 2 bosses drop a ticket for Head, Body or Legs. that way everyone who wants those slots will Need them and they can trade it in for the job they want.
