Guilds have nothing to do with FC. Geez people, if you're gonna play the game, is it that hard to learn the terminology? If you don't know the difference between a guild, a linkshell and a Free Company, then spend some time with my good friend google, he'll edumacate you.

I think we all know that a FC in this game is essentially the same thing as a guild in any other game. We all know what he was talking about. I'm glad there are some houses slowly popping up!

So? Guild means something different in this game and people like them (and you) are just going to keep talking ignorant instead of taking a few seconds to learn what guilds are in FFXIV. No matter how many times people call a FC a guild, it won't change the FACT that a guild in this game is for jobs/classes only (and the adventure's guild) and a FC is NOT a guild. Don't like it? Too bad, that's how it is. This isn't WoW, say it with me, This Isn't Crappy Ass World of WarCraft. Now keep repeating it until you understand it.
