I think yoshi made a f..k up with them prices lmao some Gil sink for rich fc's only a few have been brought on behemoth and just small plots .. Rich fc's stay rich by not spending good gill on stupid priced housing .. While I'm waiting for personal housing it would be another f..k up if they drop it in 3months with 2.2 lol

Sorry for any confusion. The only "now there's a server" post I read on this thread was about Balmung.
(An earlier poster edited the Leviathan info into that post hours after I read the original, so I never saw that addition until just now.)

I am the owner of said small house on the Leviathan server.. Im one of the original mega crafters of 2 star and still sell a lot of it which is how i funded it pretty much without taxing members.

To answer most peoples questions on why i did it... its simple.. because noone else apparently was going to do it and at least bring some form of housing entertainment to this server for a good awhile. 10m for that isnt so bad.. i doubt we see many houses sold at all even in 3 months when its half price.

There is a bigger demon lurking on this server and its hyper deflation. Due to all the new philo generation areas, philo materials are now down to 3-4k per... in a matter of a week or so 2 star crafted will be down to 50-60k per item... its going to be extreamly hard to get a medium/large house without fully maxing a fc and taxing the members. I'm betting philo materials will drop to around 1-2k per in a matter of another 3 weeks. The problem is everyone now values gil to such a high degree they dont want to let go of it so much or if they do its now 'rotting' in the fc vault and not circulating in the eco...

The housing system needs completely revamped and turned into a rent/upkeep model with a much lower upfront cost or it will never take off with how things are currently going... the fact SE did this to everyone after taunting it so much is pretty ridiculous noone will hardly even see it 4-5 months from now

Hey! I'm the sneaky lala in the hot tube! LOL it was cool to see your house and better you were there! O man our 2star prices are pitiful now. Astral rings are barley selling at 130k some going for 100k. These price cutters are cutting people by 40k-50k sometimes and it's hurting everyone. I am personally struggling now trying to make Gil off crafting because almost every 1-2 star is being cut down. Furniture isn't selling because your not buying it! Lol j/k. No one has use for it but you ATM lol though. There's a market out there buts it's going to be the Nickle and dime market and not 100$ bills market.

Oddly enough, there are two crafted items that actually went up in value in 2.1, but I'm not spilling the beans on what they are as I'm currently making decent money off them. But yes, the horrible deflation has really screwed up the economy and even mega crafters cannot make what they used to make.

Just to add the frustration, Midgard is doing slightly better, there are as of today all of 6 houses purchased, all of them small, 4 in mist and 2 in lavender beds. Our guild was wanting a medium sized house (we don't really feel there will be a point based on our guild size for anything larger) but it really would take a lot of our resources and money to throw into this. I think I am going to suggest we continue to wait it out since it doesn't look like they are going out of style any time soon.

The reason for this huge deflation in the economy is because EVERYONE can do it. If everyone can make a, the final product holds very little value. The mats, again while everyone can farm them, they hold a little bit more value because people may not want to spend hours farming for it, but the final products, nope.
