Low Level Duty Roulette - Default to highest dungeon?

There really isn't anything SE can do aside from narrow the possibilities of what to end up in. The Roulette isn't really that random, there are just more people queuing up for the storyline dungeons than there are queuing up for the non-required dungeons. After all, the gear in those dungeons are not at all necessary for the main scenario quests.

Low level duties are a light party made of 4 up to lvl48 dungeons

I love the Duty roulette. I do not like Fates too much and running these dungeons at random is a great boost for experience and leveling and a welcome change. The only downside I see is that some of the lower level players are sometimes carried through the content without ever knowing that it can be harder if everybody is on their level.

Two days ago, I was grouped in a Titan run (normal story mode) and there was one guy at the level who needed the quest, 2 guys in full relic, DL and myth gear and my mighty level 45 bard lol. The fight took three minutes and the guy said he can’t believe it. He tried it a dozen times and all the times he wiped. Truth is, it was that easy because of the rest of the party. Next dungeon he faces without Level 50 player help will be more challenging so I am not sure if it is really helping that much.

But still it is kinda helpful, people play quests again they normally refuse to play and people who need to play the quest to level up or to proceed in story mode do not need to wait forever till they have a party together. People who help either receive a great EXP boost or receive philo and myth tomes even for low level quests so in all it is a win-win situation.

One question...
Has anyone ended up with a party where all 4 has entered through Duty Roulette? Or has it always been at least one person that have queued up through the Duty Finder (level can't tell you this)? (I can imagine that the Duty Roulette starts matching together parties from Duty Roulette only, if there is nothing to fill up in the Duty Finder queue, but have yet to see this happen myself)
A high level may queue up with the duty finder for low level dungeons in order to get gear for their alt classes...

(Myself I've only gotten Tam-Tara, Copperbell and baby Ifrit so far from the low level duty roulette)

Ummm... The greater the difference between your level and the duty level the more experience you earn. I just Copperbell Mines with my level 47 WHM and earned 204,402 exp on top of the normal completion bonus.

It put me in Cutter's Cry the first time I used it. And the player it grouped me with was doing it for the first time. I am sure that's the purpose. To mix older, more experienced players with players attempting a dungeon for the first time.

It appears random enough. The most likely reason lower level dungeons come up more is because those players are still using the free 30 day trial. Once the trial is over I'm sure many players quit and move on.

I get sastasha more often than not. Copperbell second place, tamtara, then Ifrit. I love when I get Ifrit... It should always be that one

May have been fast because of the group he actually got, but it was easy because it was with experienced players rather than players who were on the same experience level as him.

The first time I used Low Level DR, it put me in NM Ifrit with three other level 50s using the roulette. It made for a good laugh and the easiest 100 tomes I ever earned. xD
