the problem that the "other" way was obviously not intended. if youre doing something that you are pretty sure will soon be patched, you probably shouldnt be doing it.

not sure why u peeps are freaking about. Enrage click 1 is a LEGIT NORMAL game mechanic and it doesn't involved boss glitching in which they can't move like the old titan hm and twintania. It was designed for non full 90 party who might have spend more time wiping over and over and thus triggers click 1 NORMALLY. Please dun tell me u guys didn't QQ because more peeps are passing coil and thus makin ur coil gear "LESS RARE"
Do it the normal way. It's so much fun than doing this "Enrage" method.

I think it's an oversight. Square wanted you to die when the timer reaches 0, they didn't plan on people using 3 healers and being able to cure spam to survive.
Ohh. So that's how this method works? Then it's really bypassing the mechanics then, and here I thought that when the timer reaches 0, it's an automatic wipe. Yet, you can over-heal it and just proceed without worrying for the timer.
If they'd wanted the party to die when the timer hit 0, the damage would be more on par with a primal's unweakened major attack.

And that's why it's an oversight, SE didn't expect that 3 healers can over-heal the damage. Heck, I've read that even 2 healers can do it.
If they expected it, there's almost no reason to put the timer at all, and just do it on a %HP trigger.
PS:
I'm not against this strategy, heck I don't even know how this exactly works, I'm just basing my replies from what I've read here.
its entirely possible for SE to increase the enrage dmg in the future, so far they haven't done anything to it yet. But it's probably a safer bet to learn to do it the normal way of passing rot and tank swapping.
Passing rot isn't a fun mechanic anyways.
