The south was the correct way. But regardless, how is someone who has never been there supposed to know that.

I dont want to be rude, but why do you play n mmoRPG?
You got 4 possibilities to reach the quarrymill (i guess you checked your map and figuered out 4 paths), all right. You take one path and see monster too high to pass. So you try the second path and so on until you find the right way.
Isnt this the kind of adventure why ppl play an RPG? Well i do and i dont want to play an easy mode RPG which is nothing but boring becuase it takes me by the hand whenever there is a little problem coming up. I want to solve such problems by myselfe and be proud when i did.

Yes having an MMO not hold your hand the entire way is wonderful. But this is just stupid, its not exploring like you claim. Exploring is finding a little nook and cranny of some really cool area (like the very north east of Black Shroud) and finding some cool buildings and NPC's ect. Not traversing through an impossible linear path that is "EXPECTED" to be at your appropriate level. If they wanted you to use the SOUTH path, then why isn't it noted in the quest dialogue or said by an NPC? The fact of the matter is, they probably didn't think about the mob placement considering only one path is viable. Not to mention this issue (apparently based on other posts and testimonials) exists in every zone. Poor planning, just like we've seen in every other aspect of the game. Its just something SE has to fix.
