    i believe the correct answer is called exploration. there is no death penalty so you should be doing as much exploration of the world as you can. you might actually be impressed with how massive the world seems at early levels if you don't get someone to just port you to all the nodes.

    You cant explore when the mobs block your path because they are 25-35 levels higher than you and 1 shot you.

    Lucky for you, SE recently nerfed the difficulty of the game by showing you which mobs aggro before you even get near them. Go around them or find a different way. You must have known that a R20 quest would not require you to walk through a field of raptors and eft. Come on, now.

    that's kinda funny because by level 15 i had reached most of the camps and nodes in coerthas and mor dhona. those are filled with r50+ mobs so they are 35+ levels above me at the time. the difference is some have an enjoyment to say i made it to this spot by exploring and having to use timing and patience to reach somewhere. the running from the drakes in south coerthas to get into mor dhona was probably the most fun i have had in game and they could one shot me.

    Edit: Path 4 actually worked. Regardless, the amount of frustration this brought me was a little excessive. The mob distribution still needs to be evaluated heavily.


    Fix this.

    While you're at it. Review each of the quests in place to ensure this doesn't ever happen again.

    Also, frontier hubs must be accessible in much the same manner. I'd hate to have my level 10 quest take me through level 60 mobs...

    And redo the entire Black Shroud while you're at it.

    Same is true for all the areas. It's insane that there's enemy variety in the game but it's all wasted by the leve design and the fact that you can go from 1 to 50 in the same zone with same mobs.

    I don't understand this complaint no matter how many times I hear it.
    Are you grinding on mobs? Did you spend your entire character life in Gridania?

    If you didn't grind in 1 zone from 1-50 (which I'm sure no one has) why complain that you CAN?
    You want a game with less options? The more places you can camp/level the better.

    I just can't wrap my brain around this complaint.

    I can get from 1-50 in a craft without ever leaving Uldah, should they nerf that, too?

    This is an example of people wanting to be hand held through the game....

    There is a right path, without any agro. the first attempt did not work... so people go to the forums and QQ.

    People are complaining because the game is badly designed that if you go to a higher level camp... there are higher level mobs when there is a path with no high level mobs in it.

    Figure it out.... it is mmo and dispite the recent trend of Baby NA mmos.... a mmo and a rpg is suppose to be about figure things out. 10mins of checking out the surrounding would of lead anyone to the patch that would not get them killed. HEll SE already added an agro icon...can't use the excuse "I didn't know that would kill me" anymore either.....


    As for the staying in 1 zone from 1-50... that is the players fault and they are gimping themselves. Leves are only 1 outlet of leveling in the game... and honestly outside Broken Water it is not even that good of sp/hr compared to going out and killing mobs in a party. This is an example of Ignorant playbase. Some of the best sp in the game is in Black Shroud and Corethas
