This is seriously one of those "they don't even know what they want," deals atm. One of the big complaints was how peaceful and easy it was to go from place to place. They need to add danger! more high rank mobs you need to be stealthy around! etc and so forth. This stuff was all over these very forums for months.

Then someone who can't handle watching which way a mob turns or a map wants them to dumb it down?

No sir. I want the same feeling of danger I had when traveling from Bastok to Jeuno for the first time. Yeah, you might die and have to HP and start over...but that's kind of the point. When you're a lowbie trying to stealth through, it's epic. It's something you remember fondly, although you probably shouted several choice words during the process.

This is an adventure game, and all those trial and tribulations make you who you are as a character. I can probably write several books that could easily rival Harry Potter based on my adventures in FFXI.
