As for all 1 gil mats, see above. For a full 50 character, getting mats at 50 is identical to getting mats at 5. Run in a circle and mash insert.
    A Botters dream come true.
Although I know this would make gil sellers happy, I think it will minimize gilsellers power because right now, most money is being tranfers between hands, not made. Most players would rather farm for gil than level a crafting class to make gil.The secret to being rich in this game is to know what to sell and keeping it a secret. At least more money could be made from the system it would be more based on how much time you put into it. Right now, you can put in alot of time and effort to make gil and still be broke. Sure my suggestion would cause inflation, but at least how rich you are would be determine to how much time you put into the game. I think less players would put there account at risk of being banned for gil buying if they had more options of making gil on their own.

And to prevent the problem of bots killing weak mobs for mats to sell to vendors, they could implement changes so that items are more vauleable based on the MOB levels they are dropped from.

I'm making 200-300k a day purely from crafting with 2.1 changes. Certain items have actually become more profitable.

You have to learn to adapt. You can't rely on old methods all the time.

Hi. I am trying to level up a Weaver, which is not exactly cheap beside in every quest i make stuffs that i need to place in the market whit not enough place for all of them. Before 2.1 (yes, i am agree with you) it was easy to sell now the adventurers are not spending their money.

By the way how did you solve your Inventory´s space problems? I know we can place some items in the Inn but it is only for event´s items and item LV 50 (I don´t need that because i am beginning to use them and it seems they are hard to "spirit bond" to 100%)

feel free to answer or contact me in game in Zeromus.

Because people are impatient, and some pieces require materials that can only be found in treasure hunts. Oh, and people are impatient. From my experience, there usually is profit in meeting the needs of impatient people.

I've made over 300k doing this with almost no effort on my part. Impatient people, or people who simply have so much money they don't care, will buy an item for more than it's worth just that they don't have to spend the time searching for where to find it cheaper.

OP, you have a rather well geared WAR. You can do what I do and my WAR would faint at the sight of yours. Just get yourself full set of crafted Amber Accessories and run the main quest roulette over and over and over. Eventually you will get VIT4 Materia that at least still sells for over 100k on my server. I personally don't need money for much since my FC has a system for collecting money for housing that is very cheap per member but is also working really well. I probably do enough stuff on my WAR including the daily Main Quest and High Level ID roulette and then some extra ones to do about 2 sets of acc converts a day. I usually get 3 VIT4s a week. Not much but when you don't need money in this game at ALL it is more than enough. The VIT materia is also pure profit, the other Materia you get will cover the cost of the Acc. Other than doing this I have no idea how to make money .

O, also, I run Crystal Tower until I get a specific piece of gear that I want. Last week it took me 20 runs which got me a LOT of convert chances and yielded 2 VIT materias and a few Crit Hit ones. The CT also get your a lot of Tomes and even though HQ Tome crafted gear is down to around 50k on my server it is still 100% profit since I harvest up everything I need to make them.

For big money selling EX primals and maybe Coil Loot.
Everything else crashed. I made some quick gil in the first 24h from PvP gears then I totally quited the market because I knew they are trash (in value of gil, not in the term of utility) at the first moment when I see their mats cost. Then I begin to sell more 2 star gears because mats price dropped faster than the end product, the % of premion was better than the old days when each piece sold for 300k. But the undercutters catch up now, it's hard to make 100% return on the mats cost.
My friend still make 300k to 400k a day by just selling small stuffs and staying actively beside the retainer bell. I can't do this any more I grind more dungeons and work on my luminary tools.
Which surprised me is that tier 3 (not tier 4) materias' prices are still stable and the demond is high. I guess it's because of the cheap 2 star gears make people need them more. I do CT run for SB materias now.

Without the materias selling, I can still make around 500k a week by spending 40min everyday updating my retainer slots.

I've found my best profit coming from low and mid end craftables (usually crafted crafting materials) rather than high end stuff.

Makes it sort of frustrating though because the 40 item limit really hurts that sort of marketing (because the people who buy stuff like that are more inclined to buy 10 and 20 stacks than they are 99 stacks unless the 99 is severely undercut).
